What is the worst thing you have ever done?

I broke up with a boyfriend in highschool, and paged him with the number to the state police with a drug code.

(I paged him with the number to a back line )

random cop "Hello"
Jerk ex-boyfriend "yeah someone wants to buy an ounce?"
cop "an ounce?"
ex-boyfriend "yeah of crack, it's pretty expensive, but I can meet you at the 7-11 to make the exchange"
cop "which one?"

When they got there, they found 3lbs of crack in his trunk and about 15lbs of pot. (oh yeah, and his friend that was with him ratted him out for running a meth lab)
yeah, he is still in jail. (he gets out in 2 years though so I am glad that he can't find me) I almost felt bad, until he called me to bail him out, and when I refused he threatened to kill me and my family.

So, what's your worst?

The problem I have is I don't regret anything I've done - not to the point of feeling really bad about it.

Wistful, perhaps, about lost chances with previous lovers.

hey, he was asking for it.

does it help that he beat the crap out of me the day before, and the day of he came to my door with a gun and said he would kill me if I didn't have sex with him?

anyway, I after he beat the crap out of me, I started answering the door with my dad's shotgun, and he went away, he called about 5 times and threatened me, so I was talking to my friend about it and he said "call the cops on him" and I said I was afraid that he would come kill me or something and my friend suggested that he was dumb enough to get himself arrested (with a little help) so we thought we would try it out.

besides any drug dealer knows you don't call back numbers you don't recognize and you don't sell to people you don't know.

it was his fault really................

I remember a guy I went to high school with. He was captain of the football team, and constantly harassed me (I was a geek in school).

So, when we went to college (I to University of Virginia and he to VMI), I paid for a gay men's magazine subscription and had it sent to his address at VMI (where he was a cadet - got the addy from his parents, but got the address intentionally wrong by room number).

He was promptly kicked out for being gay, which his parents began to believe, because he was so into weight lifting and had all those body building magazines in the house...

I was counting on both his and his parents' homophobia to really kick in. And it did.

hey I was only 15, besides, I think I have probably done worse but there were mitigating circumstances then too.

like when I hit this girl in the head with a roller skate........

or the time when my friend (totally without my prior knowledge) ran over this girl's Mazda Miata with his truck (which was kinda my fault for discussing with him how I didn't like her, knowing that he was the type to "defend my honor")

or the time I called the pound on my neighbor's dog for being in my yard (actually I have done that about 5 times)

I suppose I am just not a very nice person.

I had a boyfriend in high school who broke up with me because he was too embarrassed to be known as my boyfriend. Now, I wasn't totally fug or fat in high school (I ran track and cross country) but I was known for wearing some fairly wacky outfits and being sarcastic and not toeing the line the cliques drew out for people. So, he broke up with me over the phone, lied about the reason, and when asked about it again LATER, used a DIFFERENT LIE! God, what did I see in the guy to begin with?!! Anyway, after his graduation he was going out of state for school and I guess I started to look a whole lot more attractive to him, so he starts putting the moves on me again. The latent evil in me woke right up and soon we were going out, planning our long distance relationship and everything. The night before he was supposed to leave I dumped him - and didn't bother giving him a reason.

I had started doing drugs when I was about 9 though, so the combo of brain cells that were gone by the time I was 15 and the fact that I was basically high all the time then, made it even more difficult to think.

I am no longer a drug user, but most of the time I still have trouble putting thoughts into words. I supposed I killed off all my "thinking" brain cells.

Did he send you some sort of certificate of forgiveness? Because what if he later tries to say he didn't actually forgive you...or he forgets...

Okay okay...I can't help it Smunk, it's one of my failings. I only mock because I know you know I'm not serious, and I know you know that I don't mean it in a mean way.

I kind of think guilt is good. It stops you from making the same mistakes again. DC, for example, would probably never again call someone a ******. If he didn't feel guilty for doing it that once, it might not be an action he'd avoid.

Geez, Smunk, you were right, we are pretty alike in background. Not in exact situations, of course, but certainly in many respects.

As for the worst thing I've ever done that I consider the worst thing I've ever done? I don't know if this is even my fault, but it certainly feels like it.
I had this ex-boyfriend with whom I'd had a really really bad relationship (abusive, drug use, etc) and I broke up with him several years ago. He'd been trying to get me to get back together with him for a long time, even after it was evident he'd changed a lot for the better, but I wasn't willing to be screwed over by him again. Last October he sent me a very nice, probably very expensive ring and asked me to marry him, though I was in a long-term relationship with somebody else. I, logically enough, told him that it just wasn't a possibility....four weeks later he left Kansas City for Colorado, then left his friend's place in Colorado shortly thereafter. None of us have heard from him since last December.

Like I said, I don't know how much of this is my fault, as I didn't mean to hurt him, and he had his share of problems, but it still makes me feel bad.

[/soul pouring]Quick take? None of it. Past a certain age, everyone is responsible for themselves. You didn't, it seems, coerce or invite the ring delivery, nor did you tie him up and drive him off the edge of the earth. Feel badly for him if you want to, that's your call and karma, but take no responsibility for that over which you had no control.

I've done a few shite things in my time, but the worst was probably similar to - though less dramatic than - Smunk's. I had this absolute twat of an ex (I mean, he was a real fucker), and upon learning that a pub near his house had been arsoned and a car similar to his had been seen speeding away from the scene, I rang the confidential telephone and informed them it was him.

It wasn't him of course, because despite all the shit he fed me, he stayed on the right side of the law. I'm also pretty certain nothing much came of it, since there would have been no evidence whatsoever, but it was reported on the news the next night that a 20 year old man (as he then was) was being questioned by detectives.

I don't feel guilty in the least, I must confess; in fact, I still find it quite funny. Well, I do feel guilty about wasting police time, but not in relation to him. Had there actually been a chance he'd have been prosecuted, I wouldn't have done it, partly because I wouldn't have wanted to get done for perjury but also because having him sent to jail for a crime he didn't commit would be extreme revenge even by my standards.

I do taxes for a living, and one of the tax credits in my state isn't available to convicted felons, so I have to ask everyone who might qualify "Have you ever been convicted of a felony?"

but last year I guess I was tired one day and I asked a guy "Have you ever commited a felony?"

and he says "yeah, but I didn't get caught.......do you need to know what I did?"

"uh....no, please don't tell me, because then I might be an accesory or something"

it was sooo funny, but I didn't think that laughing was professional (I thought about saying "well, if you keep admiting to it, you're going to get caught soon")

The worst thing I've ever done is start going out with some one simply to break up with them. They were nagging me for a while to go out with them, so I did. About a week later I shattered her heart and destroyed her emotionally. I don't feel bad though. She was naive, young, and hopelessly in love. I didn't use her though, and I refused to have sex with her, because I knew from day one that I was going to break it off in a few days. She was kinda freaky that way, constantly offering sex. Made me wonder what her priorities were. Kind of worried me too. But yeah, that's probably the worst thing I've ever done. Although I'll admit I've done some pretty bad stuff in my life, I can't say I regret any of it. Every bad thing that's happened to me, or that I've done, has taught me something.

For some reason I find it hard to believe that if the cop (I am aware he didnt know it was a cop.) said "an ounce?" your ex would have said, "yeah an ounce of crack." I mean, I'm no expert in the field of drug dealing but the fact that the guy didnt no what it was an ounce of makes me think the dealer wouldnt really want to go out of his way to meet the potential buyer.

I cant think of anything like sending a guy to jail, to tell you the truth the worst I've gotten is a citation for pot smoking. Although there was this one time where I made up this thing to this kid that another kid jizzed on his face, he believed me and as far as I know hes scared for life.

It seems that it runs in his family too, his older brother got 3rd degree burns because his car had overheated so he popped the hood and opened the radiator to check and see if it was empty.

Way back in high school my friend and I stole some finger gloves from the doctor's office during an appointment she had. The next day in school we went around to our friends and made various jokes about how we heard they were having sex with their boyfriends and wanted them to be safe. Of course we would produce the finger "condom" and all laugh.

During lunch period I saw that I had one finger glove left. Upon realizing I had a carrot in my lunch bag, I proceeded to retrieve the hand lotion from my purse, put the lotion on the carrot and slid the finger glove onto the carrot. The bell rang and I left it on the table. When I glanced back on my way out the door, I noticed a nun walk up to the table and pick up my profane carrot. She caught me glancing back and, if looks could kill, I would've been in hell within two seconds flat.

Like I was going to tell you guys the worst thing I've ever done!

Well, I could talk about the time that a group house I was living in was raided by the police three days in a row, the final day resulting in the arrival of a bomb squad. When they finally came to kick us all out, they asked if we had any paraphenalia and I showed them my bong with the junior police sticker on it. Pic here. (http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c330/cfig0669/Carriespics067.jpg) They let me keep it, but not without derisive comments.

Still, not the worst. I prefer to keep the most incriminating stuff private.
