Ok, lets face it, anyone who follows the bible literally, believes ID, or believes Creationism has some type of mental illness. Also, anyone who think its morally wrong to say "jesus christ, your a stupid asshole", or to like men if your a guy, or to have sex before marriage (HOW DARE THEY!!!) also needs to be shot :sniper: .

Now, this is not to say that all religions are whacko, just Christianity. Christians need help -- they feel that they need a set of rules to live their life. And they only follow these set rules (and dont buy the "i love god, so i praise what he does for me" excuse) to get the cool grand prize! Heaven! (I really though this was a type of blackmail. Or something like that. You scratch my back and ill let you into this really awesome place for all eternity.)

On the other side of the altar, we have those that dont follow "god's" teachings (Yeah, i spelled it with a lower case "g", so shoot me!). If you dont live exactly as god planned, believe only this god, and all this other rubbish, you will be damned to hell FOR-EV-ER. Wow, god, thanks. I think someone needs a timeout. People, this "god" is a tyrannical asshole who needs counseling.

And dont even get me started on the papacy bullshit of Christianity. "If the pope (Yeah, I spelled it with a lower case "p", so shoot me!) makes a declaration from the chair, he is INFALLIBLE?!?!?" WTF!! They use this bullshit so they can "spread the "modern" messege of "god"" I'd be really surprised if your god wanted a sacrament where a convicted cereal killer, rapist, child molester, thief, etc etc etc could simply be sorry for himself on his death bed and go to heaven.

And by the way, these people going to your "hell" are only going there for chromosomal defects in genetical makeup, and missing areas of their brain that tells them "hey, DONT rop that guy, its bad!"

And please, look at evolution, ID is -100% right, and creationism is -1000% right. They cant have less scientific evidence. Its just moronic to actually blieve them.

No, I think you need help. Your determination that other people not bond themselves to rules shows a disturbing lack of oppurtunism on your part (pacfifists always lose fights), a guilty conscience (If you really thought it was all lies, why would you care? To need others to agree with you is a sign that you don't agree with yourself), and a dangerous sense of arrogance (Who are you to dictate what men may do? To whom they may pray? Whom they may fuck?)

From the journals I've read, (I'm doing my dissertation on this very subject) they probably have some form of schizophrenia or frontal lobe epilepsy. Although some are just fucking stupid and have no excuse.

The brain naturally seeks to explain things. This is called 'savage thought'. Thats why clouds look like faces or bunny rabbits, even though they are just blobs, and any shiny thing in the sky are often interpretted as flying saucers. UFO, unidentified flying object, is now used to mean alien spacecraft. The idea that its just something flying and we dont know what it is, never occurs to people.

It is the same with religion. People would rather believe something really stupid and obviously false than admit they just dont know. It is perhaps impossible to know exactly how the universe began, but christians have an answer that explains everything. To some the wrong answer is better than no answer.

Perhaps one day science will have all the answers, but until then the stupid people will make up stupid answers and refuse to believe anything else.
