Would you support an independent Cabinda?

Scroll down slightly to see the map (http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/ao.html)

I've seen lots of "Quebec independence" threads, but never a "Cabinda independence" thread. For those who don't know, Cabinda is an Angolan enclave, blocked off from the rest of Angola by the DRC. During the Angolan civil war, a separate guerrilla group, Frente para a Libertação do Enclave de Cabinda, fought for the independence of Cabinda. Since then, the movement has pretty much become defunct, but there is a Cabindan government-in-exile, and support for Cabindan independence is still popular among some Cabindans. So, if Cabinda were to declare its independence, would you support it?

Poll coming.

Eh, whatever floats their catamaran.

More colonial "necessity" at work. Angola was carved out so as to suit the whims of slave traders and plantation owners. However, I think that Cabinda is backed by the logic of warlordism.

I can't exactly claim to have much knowledge of Angolan secession, but sure, why not? I'm sure that most national boundariesa aren't exactly drawn on ethical boundaries as they were drawn up mostly in London and Paris.

Is it just me, or does an "Independent Cabinda" sound like a small end table or something?

This alone is enough justification they need to declare independence.
