The Coneheads.
The SNL Coneheads, not the movie Coneheads. The former were hilarious, the latter were a sad attempt at comedy.

Haven't seen an episode since, say.... 1997. I can't remember too many offhand, but this thread should jog the memory.. I remember the actors (many of them), but their characters escape me, although I liked Phil Hartman's Sinatra. Even if it wasn't the greatest impression, it was entertaining.

SNL stopped being funny around 1997 anyway. Right now, Mad TV > SNL.

I think Roseanne Roseannadanna, basically because I remember playing with my cousins and we were all making up "play names"

My cousin Jamie says "I am going to be Heather Locklear"
and I said "I am Roseanne Roseannadanna"

and it wasn't 5 seconds until my mom was in the room yelling at me

"THAT'S WHY YOU ARE ALWAYS FALLING ASLEEP IN CHURCH?! YOU ARE WATCHING SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE GOING HOME RIGHT NOW MISSY, YOU ARE IN HUGE TROUBLE"

*did I mention I was like 5?! It wasn't my fault I couldn't sleep, and we only had 3 channels, I thought that I should watch something other than the news......

I found that to be one of the worst sketches I have ever had the disappointment of witnessing.

Conehead skit where the next door neighbor is a hair dryer (one of the head covering ones) salesman. Priceless.
