Not that I have your attention, I pose a conundrum. Why is it that most of the harmless debate and jaw-rattling that someone stirs up eventually metamorphosizes into ceaseless conjecture about the Iraq War, abortion, or why Dubya is an idiot (this is a rhetorical question)? It's getting rather tedious. So, the responsible young lad that I am, I have taken the initiative to start a thread devoted to debating anything except the three aforementioned topics, or any others that are overtly contentious. I'll start...

What is everyone's favorite color and how are you all today?

Red. Red like the blood spilled in Iraq, 7 of the stripes of the flag of the country that Dubya, the goddamn idiot, is President of, and like the blood on the hands of every abortionist across the world.
I'm fine thanks.

My favorite color is blue. Like the Iraqi sky now that freedom's been restored.
Seriously though, political debating gets fierce; that's just its nature. If you don't want political debating, go to a non-political site's forum.

Oh I love political debate, and this site...

But incessant debate can be somewhat tiresome, at least. I'm not that ferocious, my precious.

I will say this; the fact that the Academy (of whatever) did not nominate Andy Serkis for an Oscar or at least create an award for him was utterly terrible. A hex on them.

Black. I was feeling sick today, and it brought my day down a lot.

I must say, the plus to all the debates is that it's earned me an A in US History (we're doing the 1900's) with all the historical references and trends etc.

My favorite color is clear and I'm uncomfortably full after a overly large lunch.
