makes me laugh america has a more liberal tradition than Germany , yet they can hack nudity near religion and america cant

I've been living there for 6 months now, and I can't say I've noticed much restriction on free speech (and I'm in Bavaria, which is even more conservative than the rest of Germany, apparantly). Understandably, there's an all-out ban on the Swastika and other Nazi related insignia/paraphanelia. I think that's a good thing though - it hasn't stopped far-right views, but at least we don't see f*cks walking down the street with Swastikas tattoed on their foreheads.

Yay! And looking at nude chicks doesn't diminish my faith at all :D

Unless you're a rabbi I don't remember any restrictions about being seen nude.

European Christians seem to be more relaxed about creation and evolution. They don't see it as a problem at all. It says in the Bible, that for Him, 1000 years are like one day, so whether it took Him seven days to make the universe or 20 billion years doesn't make much of a difference. Unlike us, he transcends space and time. He's not subject to either, because He made both of them. Seven days, 20 billion years, so what?

Obviously you don't grasp one of the key differences between the U.S. and Europe.

U.S. no problem with massive amounts of violence and gore, but one hint of sexuality, and BAMPH it's like "OH SNAP"

Whereas in Europe Nudity's on TV when like, little kids are watching it, but there's apparently all kinds of provisos against violence in media.

When you see a topless girl don't ask why. You should just be thankfull that she's topless. You should also tuck a dollar into her G-string. It's just good manners.

We had Jesus depicted as an HIV infected homosexual (http://www.ohlson.se/u_ecce.htm) held in pietà, subsequently crucified by skinheads, after having been baptised in full frontal nudity by an equally nude gay John the Baptist in our national church, the whole shebang blessed by the arch bishop some time in 1997-1998.

So, yeah, I'm accustomed to a standard that the Germans don't seem to be able to hold a candle to. ;)
