Now I live in Canada and on the news it has about the two Canadians and the other two men who have been kidnapped in Iraq. The man from Britain and the other from Virginia.

I believe that they worked for Christian Peacekeeping Teams or something like that, not getting into the debate about the first name of the organization because I am not Christian I believe the men in Iraq were there for a moral cause no matter what their religion is. As the Foreign Affairs guy in Canada said, they are basically peacekeepers, or peacemakers.

Now, the group that is holding them has said that by Dec 8th, if Iraqi prisoners are not released, the four kidnap victims will be executed. However, major Muslim groups in the Middle East and Canada have made statements supporting the group, especially in Iraq and Palestine so the question to you guys is

Are the four men going to make it out of Iraq alive? Yes, No!

And what do you think about the Muslim support for the 'activists' in Iraq. I personally think it is a good sign.

Keep it civil!

No. Unless they are found by the police before the eight.

The prisioners can not be released because that would encourage further kidnappings, and the terrorists cannot show mercy because that would take the sting out of further kidnappings. Basically, neither sides hand is strong enough.

You are probably right. Its going to be a lost for the peace-movement if these guys are killed but it will also be an incredible loss for the Toronto community and the aboriginals in Canada if Loney is killed. Being a community activist and all. It's sad, but there is nothing anyone can do unless the police or the U.S. find them.

Unless the kidnappers have a change of heart, which could be possible but is shrinking every quickly.

Does anyone else have an opinion on this?

I really don't want to speculate. In the past hostages have been released, so lets pray that they will be released.
