There will be no Nativity Scene in Washington, DC this year. The Supreme Court has ruled that there can not be a Nativity Scene in Washington, DC this Christmas season. This isn't for any religious reason, they simply have not been able to find three wise men and a virgin in the Nation's capitol.

Why should that have posed a problem? From what I understand, the "wise men" were three old guys who thought a newborn would be most interested in filling out a spice rack, and the "virgin" was a clever bird who figured out a neat way to hide her extramarital sexual activity.

Using those definitions of "wise" and "virginal," DC certainly has no shortage of either ;).

Upon reflection, I thought that Fozzie was the better muppet to put there. So I changed it. But when I responded to the guy who had quoted me with Gonzo in his quote I told him it was Gonzo.
