trying to make a simple, but quickly loading page that will be a really good news/blogging resource. Eventually, ALL links will appear in the box on the right. Will also have a start page with tons of news feeds.

Any suggestions? Any major resources I missed?

The story headlines, which are also links to the full stories, need to appear different from the text - would be more user friendly if bold and underlined.

Done. I had thought about it before, but was lazy and didn't try to figure it ought. But you are right that it was necessary.
