I hope NHL 2006 isn't as bad as NHL 2005. NHL 2005 was ridiculusly sucky compared to NHL 2004.

NHL 2006 is shit. It's far too arcady, every game ends up with a stupidly high score.

So i was playing Anaheim over the wekend and it was a tie game at 3 a piece and i get a Power play..

Billy Guerin skates up ice and Beats the GT after Dekeing something chronic.

Giguere is back in and Lehtinen gets the puck and beats his man dekes then scores! 19:58

Nah I scored on my first shot and then scored without actually shooting. I either poke checked it off someone into the goal or used the pass button. I can't remember how it worked.

I think i have scored off a pas but it wasn't after scoring before.

Zubov(If you know who he is) is one of my leading points scorers he scored 16 assists ina row before i used the special shot feature and as he was skating in front of the net after coming from behind he shot through his legs!:D

My team are the Colorado Avs. They're doing shit atm. Well, second most goals in the league, but still doing shit.

they're actually third now. Wings scored 6 goals yesterday to move ahead (and still lost 7-6 to the thrashers. Pft.

They've been without Roy for a while now. They lost Forsberg and Foote during the lockout, which is somewhat of a loss. The avs problem right now though is goaltending.

Rangers rule all the way. 's about time the world's capital got back on top of the world's toughest game.

One of the things that make basketball games so great is how you can change and assign strategies on the fly. The system they have for hockey is alright, but when you play a full length game, the movement is way too fast for conventional manuevers and conventional tricks. I usually play only 5 min periods going str8 to the shootout since the score DOES get ridiculous if the game is played out.

Doing a triple deke doesn't look anywhere close to what it would look like in real life, and actually getting the botton combos down takes an enormous amount of practice with a good controller (throwing it after a screwup time and time again doesn't exactly help the button connections).

Gotta say, the comparison that g4 made when comparing the ESPN and EA versions 2 years ago still applies. EA makes a great technical game, but ESPN's is cheaper and more viable for someone that's just getting into hockey video games.

Well 2003/04 was a long time ago and i didnt see anygames at all.:(

I thought they lost them all in the lockout.

It is surprising and good to see normally Gumby teams scoring now that some players have left 'clubs'..........
