In the final exam, I'll have to write essays on:

1. Christianity and the Challenge of Secular Humanism.
2. Buddhism.
3. Gender Issues.
4. The Extended Essay which accounts for 1/3 of the total marks.

Take all this, add copious amounts of unreadable handwriting (which gets worse under pressure), roast for the two hours and fifteen minutes the exam lasts and it all adds up to one big FAIL.

If you're really desperate to be abducted and killed I suppose I could arrange for that to happen. You'll have to pay in full and up front though, I'm never falling for the whole "I'll be sure to pay you back after you've killed me" trick again.

The Fortean Times forum had an entire thread on it. The gist was, some guy who was a freaking nutjob claimed to see kids with pitch black eyes. Given other things he posted on his website, he was obviosuly making the whole thing up.

I've often wondered why they don't make mirrored contact lenses. You know, like those mirrored sunglasses, only in direct contact with your eye.

I can watch films that everyone else seems to find terrifying with no problems. But if someone mention a vaguely spooky folktale I get all spooked.

I'm just glad I know about now. No little kid is going to kill me in the night.

They wern't letting me read the "It Happened To Me" forum a while ago without registering, so you'll probably have to join if you want to look for it.

For some reason, even though I do not believe in ghosts or any other paranormal shit, stories like these make me very...apprehensive. I've got my 9mm on hand now, and another one under my pillow, just in case. Also, I've taken a variety of CQC weapons and placed them near all the entrances to my house, so they're on hand. :)

There was a suggestion in one of the paranormal boards that the reason they creeped people out was that they were jungian archtypes. They didn't explain any further. Anyone know what one of these is?

Pretty much basis figures of fear, and things based on fear are based on them. Things like shadows, an old man, animals, etc.

Could stem from the idea of demons not being able to fully transform into humans. eg, the Devil keeping his cloven hooves in some cases.
