No. Far too many "Northerners" have moved to the traditional South. Also, attitudes have changed, as both sides of the long ago Civil War are laboring under states rights violations that make the ones that started that war seem pale by comparison.
Patriotism in the South is usually stronger than anywhere else, for that matter.
BTW, I believe Texas is the only state to retain the right to secede in it's Constitution.
