I hate Darwin awards. Half the time, I can totally imagine a normally rational person doing those things in a stupid moment. Not only that, but Wendy's a liar. She says she doesn't include events where children are involved/hurt or other mitigating circumstances exist, and BAM. She puts 'em in. :(

Meh. I can assure you that few children were killed during the making of these awards. And the ones that were, deserved it!

But simply read the text of the rules - it doesn't say what "offensive", "obscene" or "graphic" actually means. In things like that the mods actually have more freedom than you think.

I don't know what it was precisely that got you deleted, and I'm not entirely convinced you're stupid enough to repost it, but I guess it showed dead service people, based on what was being said about it in the thread. And I think it's fairly obvious that pictures of corpses, most likely killed through violent means, are covered under graphic and obscene.

And if you can't work that outa and you're sincere in your confusion, I pity you. Of course the mods have the freedom to rule, and it has been said that the OSRS is really more like a general overview than the definitive rules list. Come on, you can surely figure out roughly where the boundaries are and, if you're that worried about it, play it safe.

I nominate Kahta. Starting a thread on cars, just so he could bitch about ethnic minorities and call them trash (amoung other things).

That was the one, yes...but considering the context, you can also see why I did it.

Come on, you can surely figure out roughly where the boundaries are and, if you're that worried about it, play it safe.
And so I did - I explicitly said that if the mods had a problem with it (which I thought would be understandable) they should tell me, and I proceeded to add a BIG warning, so that everyone knew what they did if they clicked on the link.
Instead they chose to give me the immediate boot up the backside, in the process deleting a nation of 1.5 billion people, finally the way I wanted it.
It is that overly strong reaction which I feel was unnecessary, considering the context, considering the way the rules are written and considering that anyone who would have looked at the link would have been shaken by it (it really wasn't pretty, and I freely admit it) - including Katganistan.

But that's not the point of the thread, and this is the last I will say about the topic. I chose then to let it be and not get into big arguments on the mod-forums, and I'm not going to start now, a month or something later.
