After I visited a yahoo chat room (NFL) I decided that yahoo would be a great place to go and run off at the mouth. So I searched around..found a Rock n Roll room. Well ...I felt like a freakin alien, all they were speakin was this emo shite. ...had no respect for the older school of rock n roll, all they seem to do was put down older rock n rollers.. very discouraging. (Yahoo should really think about breaking their catagories down.)
So then I thought.. I'll check out the country section. There were 3 times the amount of ppl of in country than in Rock so I tought well here's the place to go.. but Oh.. it was the same damn thing. That really got to me. If you don't know who the fuck George Jones or Hank Williams is, your ass shouldn't be in a "country music" section. The ONLY section I found that was somewhat true to the title was American Football (NFL) at least these people were talking about that actual topic.

However you want to take it. I will own up to having prejudices against the "new generation" tho. But no it has nothing to do with age. I'm fine with my 31 year oldness. Best I've ever been :) (Incase this was taken another way, what I meant was is that my life at 31 is better than all my previous years)

I understand that. and I've never been a chat room type person. I've either gamed or visited forums, that's it. I was just testing teh waters so to speak. Will only visit the NFL section form now on.

In time, though, you may find a chat room that suits you. The only problem is chat rooms are declining in popularity against simple forums and blogs.

Last time I used a chatroom was Yahoo about five years ago. I hadn't been in the room more than 5 minutes when my computer restarted and when it tried to start up, I find it unable to read my C drive or some such...I've never used a chatroom since per se. Though I sometimes use IRC.
