I've been reading a number of reports that a fair number of Xbox 360's have been crashing in the middle of gameplay. It concerns me, since I plan on getting one for Christmas. Has it been a problem for any of you guys?

Didn't people have problems with the original XBox too?

Yeah, there were some problems with the original Xbox. I wonder how Microsoft will handle this one.

Although if you had bought from the first batch you could have sold it on eBay for about three times what you paid. And then wait for the more stable version and some games.

Good luck getting one for Christmas if you don't already have one on lay-away or don't have several thousand dollars to spend on eBay.

One can only imagine how clever people must feel if they bought their box at twice the price on ebay :D
