Oh ya try to suggest a name....

DARK (LATE AT NIGHT, RAINING LIGHTLY) 1995 April 3rd.

You see a lone white male standing at a corner of an empty street. A figure walks slowly towards him, glancing around as he walks (you do not see the persons face). The man turns to greet the walker when the figure lunges at the man suddenly and knocks him down the man struggles and knocks over a garbage can next to him, then the figure grabs the mans head and smashes it on the ground, the man stops moving. The figure looks around and then drags the man into a nearby alley; you hear a thud, a door slamming and an engine starting, a large white van drives slowly out of the alley and down the street...

Dr.Weibe-So Jamie you may be confused about why I called you down here, am I right….

Jamie-Yes, sir..

Dr.Weibe-Well Jamie, they didn’t give me much info on it either but I’ll tell you what I know, you may have heard about the recent string of murders… 4 in the last 3 weeks and all murdered in the same way we have they setting for a serial killer here. They have received a tip that involves criminal profiling they asked us to send our best profiler to them, which is undoubtedly you, during this you will be excused from your studies so you can focus on this assignment. Do you understand what I’ve just told you Jamie?

Jamie-Yes...

Dr.Weibe-you are scheduled to meet Sergeant Bailey at the Vancouver Police Department at 4:00; she will update you on the rest of the situation..

Jamie-Thank you..

(JAMIE WALKS DOWN HALL TO CUBICLE, IT’S A SMALL CUBICLE BUT SO ARE MOST OF THE CUBLICLES, THERE ARE PICTURES OF HER HUSBAND AND TWO DAUGHTERS ON HER DESK<ALONG WITH A ASSORTMENT OF CHILD’S DRAWINGS)

(SHE PASSES IT TO JAMIE)

(FILE 1298 DR.NATHAN CROFT)

Sergeant Bailey-We need you to interview Dr.Nathan Croft, brilliant psychologist, he runs a profession on the north side giving therapy to drug addicts and prostitutes about 5 years ago he sent us a report on sociopath’s that were at risk for murder on we need you to interview him on any of those people on that list that could be doing the killings...

Jamie- but sir why would you consider a sociopath for the killings, from what I’ve read they’re just normal gangland slayings..

Sergeant Bailey-from what you’ve read that’s it our chiefs aren’t allowing the media to print any details about the killing other than people have been killed,(SIGHS) well I might as well keep you inform follow me..

(SERGEANT BAILEY AND JAMIE WALK DOWN HALLWAY TOWARDS DOOR, SERGEANT BAILY OPENS DOOR AND JAIME GO’S IN)

Sergeant Bailey-Jeffery Stewart-Age 25 White/Male Missing 3/11/95 Found 3/23/95
David Layton -Age 29 White/Male Missing 3/16/95 Found 3/25/95
George Decapria-Age 21 White/Male Missing 3/21/95 Found 3/29/95
Blain Goodman -Age 23 White/Male Missing 3/26/95 Found 3/31/95

Sergeant Bailey-and the man who was reported missing yesterday matches the description of all those men...So we’re guessing that this man was taken by the same killer.

Sergeant Bailey-so we’re trying get a profile on the killer and we’re hoping that Dr.Croft could give us one or he might even know who the killer is, he might have given him counseling at one time.

Sergeant-Do you scare easily Mr.O’Connor...

Jamie-not yet.

Sergeant Bailey-good, then you’ll need this

(SERGEANT BAILEY HAND JAMIE A BADGE)

Jamie-Well sir, you have probably heard about the killings taking place on the northside, and well, we are hoping that you may be able to give us a profile, that we desperately need, now that that its label a serial killer.

Dr.Croft-Ahh yes, the Riverman killings the best physchopath we’ve had down here in years, and I can give you more than a profile I can give you all the information you need to catch this killer, if I want to that is...

Jamie-If you want to? Don’t you want to stop these killings, sir.

Dr.Croft-no particularly not anyway they will stop soon anyway that is if he hasn’t totally cracked up during the last few years.

But Mr.O’Connor schooling can not erase everything can it, like that Irish accent that you’re trying so hard to cover.

Jaime- (ANGRILY) sir. This has nothing to do with what I’m trying to talk to you about.

Dr.Croft-No. Jamie it has everything to with what your talking to me about.

This is pretty cool, though I got all into it and there isn't any more to read ><
Other than the spelling/grammar issues ( which as you said, its incomplete) I think you have a pretty good theme going that draws the reader ( or viewer) in pretty well. Very silence-of-the-lambs-ish, you might want to tweak a few of the characters out a bit and make them more creative and less streamlined : Cop. Psychologist. Student. Killer. Give them a bit more depth I think, make them stand out from 'other' similarly themed media, books, movies, etc. --- though you could be doing that as the screenplay continues.

1 critique I have is maybe try to make your 'scenes' last a little longer -- there's a couple instances (like the director's office) where Jamie goes in, they say 2 things to each other, and the scene's over. Might want to add a bit more in there so the transitions aren't as harsh.

I like it tho, you going to post the rest for us?
