A South Dakota teen was prosecuted for indecent exposure for having "sex" with a manequin. Personally I think he got off light. A dummy isn't mentally competant to consent to sexual activity.

Nonsense. I've met Governor Bush, and he's married.

Ok, while this is both funny and sad, how is this indecent exposure if the security guard found him in a room thought to be unoccupied? I had thought that indecent exposure involved being out in the public eye in some way.

If the room he was found in wasn't in his house it counts as public area.
If the room he was found in wasn't in his house it counts as public area.So every time you change in a changing room it's possibly indecent exposure?

Correct, but since only peeping toms will see you; you won't be charged. Since the peeping toms will be charged too. :D

So? I've had sex with a few "dummies" in my time too. Most of mine could at least move ... sometimes. :D

It says they'd found the same mannequin undressed before. Doesn't that mean they didn't throw it away, but instead just put clothes back on it?

Yeah, but on the bright side, the clothes were more difficult to peel off the second and subsequent times.

Ok... I don't exactly see what the problem is, unless you count the fact that this guy was trying to make it with an inanimate object.
How the hell was he doing it? Were the hands curled? There are no orifices!!!!!
How the hell was he doing it? Were the hands curled? There are no orifices!!!!!That never stopped a dog from riding up someone's leg. So I don't see why it would have stopped him.
But tha article doesn't even explicitly say what he was seen doing. "inappropriate activity" could be any of several things. Maybe he tried orally pleasuring the manequin.

On second thoughts, that requires an explanation just in case people think that I have a thing for mannequins. In fact, it was a group of my friends trying to pin me down and put chains on me. Just to clear it up.

I don't get it.. I mean, if the guy was in an unoccupied room, what's the big problem? Sure, it's an odd thing to do, but people fuck their vacum cleaners too.. I don't understand how trying to screw an inanimate object can be illegal? What about dildos & such?
Wouldn't it have made more sense to just warn the guy for 'abusing' school property?
Sounds like he took the sex education lesson on safe sex a little too seriously. Maybe he drilled a hole between the manequins legs. I wonder if the manequin had boobies or not? :fluffle:

I think the issue lies in the fact he was doing this outside his home...had he simply kidnapped the manequin, all would be well:)
I can just imagine the headline "Manequin forced into sexual slavery"...

Do you think he just woke up one morning and thought;
'Ah yes! I think that today I will find an inanimate object resembling human form and peform a sex act upon it. Oh, and I simply MUST remember to pick up some bread on the way home...'
(Don't know why, but I imagine him with a really posh, upper crust english accent.)
Who does stuff like that?! I mean, aren't there specially made dolls for that?

B) Has the mannequin pressed charges?

Alas, my gender dictates that I do not need a doll with holes in it.
You know what, I reckon he's a necrophiliac. But couldn't find a dead body, or a woman who would lie still enough.
Time to sit back and crack open a cold one...

Here's the real culprit:
The spokesman said security staff had reported the same mannequin found undressed on several occasions.
The mannequin did it! It's an exhibitionist and child molester.

Well, I suppose there could be cause for alarm. How would one react if they found out the CPR mannequin they were using for training had been used to perform oral sex on some teenager?
