I don't have a clue why, and my roommate thinks it's bizarre, but I don't care! I love kids' shows! I mostly watch the Disney channel and Nickelodeon for a few of their choice programming selections, such as the following:
The Koala Brothers - This is an Australian(?) show about two koalas, Frank and Buster, who own a small plane and fly around the outback every day looking for people they can help. The show appears to be done in claymation. The theme of this show is being helpful and considerate, and the characters are wicked awesome and well-designed. All things considered, a very fun and well-conceived program.
Charlie and Lola - This British(?) show is about two young children. Charlie is a boy of 7 years who takes care of his 4-year-old sister, Lola. Lola is the driving force behind the show's plots, as she typically creates a problem by being stubborn, illogical, and/or silly. The animation is very unique, with all the backgrounds and characters appearing as a child's crayon doodles, messy lines and everything. Lola is hilarious, and this show makes me feel fuzzy.
Stanley - This American(?) show is about a young boy who loves all kinds of animals. His best friend is an intelligent goldfish named Dennis, and he has a cat who's overconfident in her own smarts and a dog who plain doesn't have any. The animation is hard to define, but it reminds me of cleanly-cut pieces of construction paper. The episodes usually show Stanley being confronted with a problem and being reminded of an animal. He then looks up the animal in the "Great Big Book of Everything," (introduced by a brief dog and cat duet) interacts with it, and learns a lesson relevant to his problem. To be honest, my favorite part of this show is the dog and cat.
Also cool:
Bear in the Big Blue House (and Breakfast with Bear segments)
I might add more, but that depends on whether I feel like it or not :P
