Star Trek is more logical and touches on deeper issues.

star trek by a long way. the emotional and/or philisophical content covered by the star wars films can be present in a single episode of 'trek, yet alone touched on more deeply and often delicatley at numerous times throughout the series', not forgetting that therefore 'trek can cover more ground in this sense

star wars = "cowboys in space"
star trek = much much more

Yeah okay. If I wanted that, I’d read a book.

I also voted Star Trek for one simple reason: Hologram rooms. You can make your own Star Wars fantasy right over there (if you were to live in the Star Trek universe).
If this is only about entertainment purposes then I'd still go with Star Trek because it's deeper, more realistic, and Jeri Ryan is HOT!

the best of star trek beats the best of star wars all to hell. (as long as we arent including books as i dont have enough info on those to judge) there are episodes of star trek that moved me to tears, star wars never came close.

the worst of star trek makes the worst of star wars look like shakespeare.

I think its the other way around, the best of Star wars is better than the best of Star Trek, but Attack of the Clones.... EUCH!

Star Trek is FAR deeper than Star Trek.

Though I LOVE Star Wars, it never really went beyond good and evil.

I hate all Star War movies, too many aliens look like animals or toys etc etc,
it looks more like a movie for kids. And too many special effects.

Star Trek aliens look more humanoid and or like real aliens should look like.

Even though Battlestar Galactica aliens were robots, I liked the concept of Battle Star Gallactica, When the 12 Colonies of Man are all but wiped out by a cybernetic race called the Cylons, Commander Adama and the Battlestar Galactica lead a ragtag human fleet of survivors in search of a mythical planet called Earth! Lorne Greene, Richard Hatch and Dirk Benedict star in the classic TV space opera — one of the most lavish and special effects-intensive series ever telecast!

Star Wars it is, yeas... hmmm? I think I realized I was also attracted to women when I first saw Carrie Fisher in that hot little slave outfit.

Star Wars. I can't exactly say why, it's just that Star Trek never really did it for me. Also, I like movies way more than TV shows in general.
