Something tells me that if they made a cartoon lampooning the decisions of their central religious council, or the actions of their own military, that the people wouldn't be laughing. Someone would get executed.

Probably, but that doesn't mean they're not laughing at these cartoons, now, does it? Iranians are people, too, and can probably see through this. At least, the Iranians I've known have been able to.

I've got a feeling little kids aren't mature and sophisticated enough to "see through" the message that Israelis and Americans are evil and should be killed.

But their parents are. The parents who would instill such "values" into children probably don't need cartoons to do it, and those who wouldn't will probably not let their children view this. Then you have the parents who are bad parents and let their children watch whatever, no matter how violent or filled with propaganda.

Just like in the West.

Listen folks, there are plenty of good reasons to kill someone. It makes you feel like a big man, it looks like in the movies, that satisfying thump when they hit the ground, but not over cartoons.
