Inspired by Fass' relentless war on people who only speak one language, I thought it might be interesting to test our language skills. I'll jump onto the chopping block first.

I am also too lazy to use the proper accents, even though the effort that I am expending to type this sentence is much greater then the effort that simply doing it properly would have entailed.
Oh, and I also have a vague command of Russian and Latin, but not good enough to actually talk through it.

Yo hablo espanol, pero no muy bueno.
[I speak spanish, but not very well]
I took spanish in school for 4.5 years, in the middle of my fifth year (senior year of high school) I developed a significant degree of mutual animosity towards my teacher and dropped the class.
It's been over five years since then, and I don't remember much, but I'd like to think that if I was dropped off in the middle of a Spanish speaking country that I'd be getting along fine in a couple of weeks.
I also took a very small amount of French and German, but that was more than a decade ago...I don't remember any of it.
I can also count to ten in Japanese...thanks to taking Judo in elementary school. :p
