Karachi Fried Children

It seems terrorists have struck again in their war against KFC. A car bomb in front of a Karachi, Pakistan KFC restaurant killed at least six people and wounded more. How the hell can people in Pakistan still support the Islamist terrorists when those same terrorists make it impossible to buy your family a chicken dinner without being blown up? When will the supporters of terrorists learn that terrorism is a threat to all people?

You know how tough franchise competition is. Maybe it's not terrorists - maybe it's the owner of the Pizza Hut down the street....

Photographs of a rally in Pakistan where Osama's picture was being held up by the protestors. It was a pretty big crowd.

Not really. That would be like saying if no one supported murderers there wouldn't be any.

But it's true...ideologically, people may agree with the agendas of certain terrorist groups. It's easy to look at their struggle, and even the deaths they cause when those deaths are distant from you. I suspect, however, that many a mind has been changed with first-hand experience with violent terrorism. Nonetheless, despite the sensational nature of these crimes, they do not touch the majority of us in a personal, immediate way. This is why some people are still able to support terrorism as a means to an end.

Aha! The true culprit behind this bombing of fried chicken purveyance. :p

Although what Sinuhue is quite apt really. How many people would walk the walk if they already talk it? How many people would support a particular action or brand of action if they were on the recieving end of it? Not many I bet.

How does one justify blowing up a restaurant full of his own countrymen just because it's owned by a corporation based in a country he doesn't like? Have these people never heard of a boycott?
