Terrorist Cakes

Compared to other teen heiresses and "actresses," I don't think that Nicole Richie is that bad. She was a bit immature in the Simple Life, but she's never done anything really distasteful.
But a book? There are already enough terrible, contemporary novels today, without additions from untalented celebrities. How many times to we have to watch Crystal* chose between her boyfriend Danny* and her best friend Chantal*? Or Brittney* decide which boy she likes more: the cute one she met on her summer vacation, or her devoted but dorky neighbour?
And now, Nicole tells a story "loosely" based on her life, filled with weak metaphors and poor grammar? (Chapter Excerpt: http://www.harpercollins.com/global_scripts/product_catalog/book_xml.asp?isbn=0060883855&tc=cx). Somebody find me my copy of Jane Eyre before I have an aneurism.
*Apologies if one of these is your name.
