Should I buy a Soviet era officer's hat, a Nazi officer's hat, or American officer's hat? I can't decide.
Nazis always have had the coolest uniforms.
But the Soviets had the best symbol.
But the American hat is appreciated all over...well...America.
Your choice.
Go with the Soviet one. They're always more chic.

Officer? Meh.
Buy a good old Chinese PLA Hat. I've got one, and it's done its job well. Very well made too.

I wanted to buy a whole uniform, but they're just too expensive for a good one.

They're cheaper in China.
I bought the hat, a Russian fur Chapka and a Mao-Bible of one guy for about 20 Aussie Dollars (don't ask).
And you get to see China, which is probably worth something in itself. ;)

One of my professors just got back from China.. he says the pollution there makes L.A. look like Yosemite.
