Yes, it is. Arabs killing Arabs, Muslims killing Muslims.

I guess the Palestinians now know what it's like to lose people to suicide bombers.

SILET AL-THAHER, West Bank -- In this Palestinian village, the Akhras clan mourned 17 relatives killed by a suicide bomber in Jordan - the first time Palestinians have been a target in a suicide attack.

"Oh my God, oh my God. Is it possible that Arabs are killing Arabs, Muslims killing Muslims?" asked a weeping Najah Akhras, 35, who lost two nieces.

One of the bombers in Jordan is now suspected to be a woman, which makes me wonder what her reward was in heaven, cuz the guys are all promised those virgins.... On a serious note, if they want to win support and sympathy in the Arab world, they may have just ruined their cause.

Your point being?

The vast majority of victims of any suicide bombing are innocent bystanders (and in the Middle East that means Muslims and Arabs) - this is hardly the first case of it happening.

True, but this is different, for whatever reason.

It seems to be the first time that Palestinians have experienced losses unexpectedly this way. That's the point.

It always sucks to be on the receiving end.

Well, I would just point out that this is hardly the first time the Palestinians are at the receiving end of political violence...:p

What about what is currently going on in Sudan?
What about the Iran-Iraq war?
What about The Iraqi invasion of Kuwait?
What about the suicide bombings in Egypt and Indonesia?

These are not muslims killing muslims?

It's a first for Palestinians being hit by people they thought were their allies in the GWAC.

I think the Palestinians bought into the al-Q propaganda - that al-Q sees the plight of the Palestinians as part of the reason to fight the West.

Now I think they might realize that in the calculus of al-Q, the Palestinians are disposable.

Yes, I hope they realise this fact. I know that the rest of the Arab world is waking up to this notion.

She probably gets to share her husband with the 72 virgins.

I'm pretty sure killing other Muslims is a sin.

And the killing of other inncoent people even if they are not Muslim is also a sin?

That is too...maybe he expressed himself in an unfortunate manner.

There are various bits in Islamic religious writing regarding the treatment of "unbelievers" that could mean many things - it depends on what kind of person does the interpreting.
So just like any other religion.

Thank you for clarifying that. How well I know about the "person that does the interperting." :(
