Following yesterdays "drama" what does everybody think of self-determination - the legal and (most importantly?) ethical right to end your own life.

teenage angst and suicide threats from an unfortunate young man.
post & thread has been deleted since, possibly due to the number of people egging him on and/or suggesting the best methods to finish the job.
You're a cold mean bunch on this forum :p

Would you expect anything else coming from the Interweb? Especially a part of the Interweb with Fass in it?

When I came on this site I expected cookies and a magical pink unicorn. So far all I've gotten is dissapointment, and herpes for some odd reason.

I think people ought to have a legal right to end their lives.

Ethics-wise, I think context is the deciding factor. I would for instance consider unethical for a healthy parent of a dependent child to commit suicide, but would not feel the same about a terminally ill person who's illness has destroyed any capacity for quality of life, to kill themselves.

Well, I'm sure that "cookies" has been used as a euphamism for an STD at least once in the past, and invisible goddesses are surely magical so Now you can enjoy the IPU(BBHHH) (http://www.palmyra.demon.co.uk/humour/ipu.htm).
See, all you must do is ask for something, and I will provide (or point out that you already have it in a different form), I'm very much like God in that respect.
