Lol, my mom's a flight attendant (40 yrs United Airlines — HOOAH!) and she doesn't get around like that :P

Off the top of my head, she's been to...

Rio de Janeiro
London
Munich (München for the freaks)
Naples
Amsterdam
Brussels

looks like a lot, but still eleven to six!

How did you find Manchester?

I had a good time there. Fun place. I accully met up with Rasselas while I was in town, through the forums, so that was cool.

Tell us some stories!! Being in Europe for that long, you must've met some crazy people and seen some crazy/weird/different things!! Let's hear about 'em!

To: Osutoria-Hangarii....How'd your mom like Rio (if she stayed for a little visit)? I went and loved it.

Her layovers are pretty short, but she seemed to have a pretty good time. Most of her experiences are limited to an area pretty close to whatever hotel UAL puts them up at ;)

The "Millenium Spire" that wasn't built 'till 2003? Yea, we used it as a landmark to find our way back to our hostel :)

In Dublin, on Halloween, me and the girl I was there with went walking around at night, and we came to a group of kids building a bonfire, drinking heavily, and shooting fireworks in the air and at each other in the slummy part of town. We also saw a few other fires from a distance. We hung around (and almost got burned by people lighting and throwing firecrackers and shit) untill the sirens started comming, then we split.

In Paris I got a little too drunk and peed on a Parisian post office

In Amsterdam (need I say more?) I got fucked up on hash and wrecked the place's bathroom (the Double Regge, my favorite coffeshop while I was there)

In the Red Light District I got offered coke and E like every 5 min one night. I also got the same offer twice in broad daylight on a busy city street.

On the Eiffel Tower someone didn't use all their time in one of those viewy things, so I got a free 30 seconds.

Me and my friend realised only after we were in line to get into the Vatican that we had our knives on us, and I had to smuggle them in. Not that we could have done much damage if we wanted to. The Swiss Guards had swords. (although when I told a friend back home, he said I should have stabbed a guard and yelled "Sactuary!" since St. Petere's is just a giant church :) )

I smoked hash in Amsterdam, got free beer in Berlin, discivered the joys of ouzo in Athens, sipped wine on a beach in southern France, and enjoyed pints of stout and whiskey in Temple Bar in Dublin.

We played with packs of stray dogs in Athens.

We had the best fucking ice cream I've ever tasted in Florence!!

I saw a cat without a face in Rome.

I almost had to knife a creepy guy that was fallowing my friend around one night in Athens.

Trying to eat for 2 on 5 euros a day.

Drinking with hot U. of Manchester chicks ^_~

Also, if you're ever in Berlin, the New Berlin Walking Tour is really interesting and fun way to spend an afternoon. It's free, and it leads into the Pub Crawl, and you get free beer weather you do the pub crawl or not.
