Basically this is how it will work.

Team A is playing Team B.

Know you have a choice in who will win.
I would say the Team A

But not only that you have to pick the margin range.
The options are 1-12,13-20,21+ and of course the much loved draw.
I would pick 1-12

If the final score is 17-16 to Team A then i would get 3 points
if i had said 13-20 i would get 2 points and if i had said 21+ i would get 1 point.

Picking the Draw correctly gets you 5 points as it is seldom seen.

Of course if you were to pick Team B who lost then you would get 0 points for that match.

It makes sense right?.

Japan by 13-20. Japan have more experience, but basic handling skills will stop a rout.

New Zealand by 13-20. The Welsh can be as optimistic as they like. The ABs really should cruise through it though. Should, that is.

South Africa by 21+. The argies have a half decent pack with useless backs. It will be the Bryan Habana show on the wing for the boks.

France by 1-12. Picking any game involving France is always tough because you never know which team will turn up. As is, the aussies have been woefull this year, and I think it will continue.

Uruguay by 1-12. I'm sure both of these teams have been minnows at the WC in the past, but who knows really.

Portugal by 1-12. Ha. Yes.

Arabian Gulf v China = China by 1-12. -World Cup Qualifier's
Portugal v Uruguay = Portugal 13-20
Portugals Performance last week sounded clean with domination through all areas of the game.

Georgia v Chile = Georgia 21+
Georgia should take this one by 21+ they have a few good players(by Gumby standards) and one of their players is the Brother of a French international.
Halves and Centres should be the key.

Wales v Fiji = Wales 13-20
The Welsh should be looking to how how they can play after last weeks dismal (Under)performance if Fiji can play anywhere as good as they did in their match against France in the 99 World Cup things could be a lot different.

France v Canada = France 21+
France are missing Pelous but will still walk over the Canucks.

Ireland v New Zealand = NZ 13-20
NZ pick a New 15 but still should thrash the Micks.

England v Australia = England 1-12
I am thinking of flipping this completly Oz to lose 7 in a row is unbelievable.

Scotland v Argentina = Argentina 1-12
Argentina played well last week and really should have one but not playing for 80 minutes can kill you.

Italy v Tonga = Italy 1-12.
Italy without Kirwan as Coach will be interesting.
Alot of New Zealanders play for the Azure namely Persecoe and Whakarua two of their better players.

In other news Greece played their first ever match, against Austria going down 52-3.:)

Luckily for whoever the hell is #13 for the Irish, Nonu isn't the defender that Umaga is but he's fucking hard to tackle. Aaron Mauger rates him as the hardest player in world rugby to tackle, but then he's playing inside him so it doens't matter.

Semi-spear you say? That guy milked it. As the commentators pointed out. Nonu's a big guy, the tackle was fine. Irish can't seem to handle being put on their shoulders. Maybe you all need to do a bit of bulking up. Then you wouldn't cry so much when you fall on them.. As with the Nonu tackle, there was no driving downwards. He just fell. Quit complaining. He was dumped upside down into the ground. Head first.

How can you possibly milk that? It's bad enough as it is. It's just not acceptable in a game of rugby. Falls the wrong way, comes down too heavy, or lands badly = broken neck.

It's more the intention. The IRB really needs to show that even a half-spear, or somebody about to spear and changing their mind, or whatever, is just unacceptable.

Especially after nothing happened to yer man who speared O'Driscoll. That could have been alot worse.

New Zealand are a great team, but don't go about getting yourselves a reputation for being dirty players.

If anything he'll get a 'careless tackle' charge, which is about what it was. I doubt there'll be a suspension unless they decide to be real dicks about it, which is more a problem with horrible inconsistencies with punishments in rugby anyway.

Preview - England v New Zealand 18/11/05
England look to burst New Zealand's balloon
You have to hand it to those New Zealanders - is there anything they can't do? Slay Lions, dethrone Boks, tonk Wallabies, spank Celts, butter up royalty, dodge suspensions and land modest-looking Rugby World Cup bids against unfathomable odds.

Battle Stations: The All Blacks prepare for the English assault
Wags might pipe up with 'win the Rugby World Cup', but that dig looks set to expire in 2007.

In fact, the IRB's engravers should probably just cut 'New Zealand' into the Webb Ellis Trophy today and be done with it.

Actually, they might as well do it twice, for who will be able to better the hosts in 2011?

There's no doubt about it - the New Zealand juggernaut is flying high at the moment.

Wales and Ireland slid from its imperious nose like dazed bugs, unable to put even the tiniest ding in the black armour.

With all due respect to stuttering Scotland, it is now left to England to stop the menacing tourists from adding 'grand slam winners' to that impressive CV.

The only way New Zealand will fail to secure the clean sweep is if the English manage to stuff up the internal workings of the well-oiled machine - to be fat geese to the Celtic bugs and make a beeline for those purring engines.

England seem to have the tools to do this - a tight-five that could pass for those 'hideous gargoyles' of 2003, ability at the ruck and maul, and a functioning line-out.

But strength-in-depth is wafer-thin in all areas of this England team. It lacks a couple of incisive backs and a credible scavenger on the openside.

A good plan for Saturday would be to stick the ball up Andrew Sheridan's jumper and camp him in the black half - but the modern game doesn't allow for such Geoff Boycott-esque tactics, and nor do the modern skin-tight jerseys.

In direct contrast, All Black boss Graham Henry is nearing his goal of having at least two world-class players in each position.

To display this embarrassment of riches in injury-ravaged Europe comes across as slighty callous - it's the equivalent of enjoying an open-air jacuzzi in the middle of a drought-stricken village.

But you reap what you sow, and the All Blacks deserve to enjoy the fruits of their labour after two long years at the drawing-board.

Against this backdrop, it's no surprise that the bookmakers have already written off Saturday's hosts.

England find themselves in the odd position of being 9/2 outsiders at Twickenham, while New Zealand go in as odds-on 1/8 favourites.

England coach Andy Robinson was suitably encouraged by the 26-16 victory over Australia last weekend, but knows it will take a repeat performance - and more - in all aspects of the physical exchanges for his side to have any realistic chance on Saturday.

"The game of rugby is played right on the edge, and this is going to be a huge physical game," said Robinson.

"There are going to be some great hits, there is going to be some power scrummaging from both sides.

"We have got to stand toe-to-toe with that and make sure we are streetwise in the way we compete at every area, but also to match their physicality.

"It is about making our one-on-one tackles. Everyone has got to put their body on the line, take no backward step and be smart in being able to pick up their runners and knock them on the floor."

But the statistics are stacked against England, with only six victories recorded from 27 starts against New Zealand, while the All Blacks average almost 40 points a game in 2005, which includes a Tri-Nations title triumph and the 3-0 Test series whitewash of the Lions.

Putting it mildly, England have got it all to do. But if they can exert a degree of pressure on New Zealand - an area where Wales and Ireland failed miserably during the past fortnight - then who knows?

New Zealand have hardly been put on the back foot all year, so it will be down to the likes of Sheridan, his front row partners Steve Thompson and Phil Vickery, and locks Steve Borthwick and Danny Grewcock to stop their illustrious opponents at source.

If England emerge victorious, then it is likely to be a case of winning ugly, but any triumph against the All Blacks - however it is achieved - is gratefully received.

"New Zealand are a very special side, and they have achieved a lot in the last year," said Robinson.

"The depth in talent they have means they could pick two strong sides over the last two weeks, and this third side is a combination of the two.

"They compete at every single aspect of the game, and that is the challenge you have to be able to withstand. We have to take the game to them."

Far easier said than done, of course, but do not be surprised if England run them close before the All Blacks glitterati - Dan Carter, Doug Howlett, Mils Muliaina and company - ultimately have the final say.

Players to watch:

For England: Andy Robinson referred to Mike Tindall as "the heart beat of the side" on the eve of the Wallaby game - if so, a quick hit from the defibrillator could come in handy ahead of Saturday. It was great to see the burly centre back on the Test stage after so many injury setbacks, but he struggled to impose himself on proceedings. It was probably just a little rust, but he needs a big game against New Zealand if he wishes to avoid the fate of his erstwhile England partner, Will Greenwood.

For New Zealand: Dan Carter may provide the flourishes but it's the work-rate and cunning of the forwards that provide the platform to New Zealand's game. If England make the slightest error at the breakdown they will find themselves faces a conversion just seconds later. The try will surely have been scored by one of the fancy-pants backs but the applause will go to the big guys. In the sad absence of Richie McCaw, lock Chris Jack will assume responsibility of the black pack. He'll need to keep his wits about him against an English side that is hungry for a physical encounter.

Head-to-head: Andrew Sheridan (England) v Carl Hayman (New Zealand): If you didn't now about Andrew Sheridan last week, you do now. The papers have been falling over themselves to laud the Sale Sharks strongman after his demolition job on the Wallabies. Indeed, it was the sort of the performance that most props think they've had after they've downed their constitutional 12 pints of bitter at the post-match shin-dig. But the glowering figure of Carl Hayman is a very different proposition to Al Baxter. At 1.93m and 115kg he is only marginally smaller than Sheridan, but he's got experience. He's taken on the best front rowers in the game and will refuse to serve up another picnic for 'Big Ted'.

Prediction: England will offer a stiff challenge to the tourists, but there's no accounting for pure talent and no defending against New Zealand's startling counter-attacks. The Wallabies managed to find gaps in the white defence - expect the New Zealanders to find avenues. New Zealand by 12 points.
sportingodds.com prediction: New Zealand by 15 points.

I only had 2 1/2 Hours sleep last night and to be fair the Kiwi Kangaroo Game was far more exciting than the prospect(and eventual act) of winning the Grand Slam for me.

I flicked to Sky News and so a Poll asking who was to blame for Australias oor performance so i figured they had lost-SIlly Wallabies.
