All right, I'm bored out of my mind, and currently reviewing my life in general. So, I'd like to put out a poll on whether or not I should do something I've not done in years.

Simply put, I'm at an impasse if I should cut my hair (as has been my style for the last ten years or so) again, or if I should let it grow out.

Speaking as a woman, more women find men with long hair hot than with short.. but do as you like. :)

You could pass for a wop. I've been told I could pass for an arab, and I'm 100% Italian. Must be the mediteranian thing.

Shorter the better. For men overall, but for you especially.

While I think some guys do look good with long hair, I think you'd be better leaving it short.

Oh, forgot to mention, this poll's going to keep going for three days. Why three days? No real reason, other than today being the 3rd of November...

And I just did a comparision between Joe Pesci and I, and we don't look similar at all...must be your age getting to ya Eutrusca! :P

I don't find guys with long hair that hott because they don't take care of it. Now, if it wasn't matted and nasty when they let it grow out, then they would probably be hotter than guys with short hair. Leave it short, man. I don't think you look that Italian. Maybe a little. But not much.

Keep it short, but do something with it. It's really dull as it is. Get a good hairdresser to actually give you a do that you can do stuff with instead of just having short hair. Texture, for crying out loud! Your hair craves texture!!!

Or get some gel and do something interesting.

Keep it short, friend. The mental picture of long hair just looks silly. The short looks just fine. Besides, if you grow it long the wrong way you'll end up with a nasty mullet or something..

That would be comical. And then you could go to your local grocery store and ask the people there which looked better. You might get a few weird looks.

I say leave it short. I wore mine long for a couple of years. I cut it short for the following reasons:

1. It was a hassle on windy days. Constant primping, and that just ain't right for a dude.

2. I looked like Elvis every morning until I took a shower.

3. I don't think people took me as seriously, especially in business.

#3 is probably a self-perception issue, but I still think the general public forms certain opinions about who you are based on first impressions. Part of the question becomes about how you want to portray yourself to you and others.

Then again, I'd probably be risking my own mother driving 200 miles and smacking me so hard up the side of the head that I'll be having coordination problems for the rest of my life...

Anyway, I voted long, but maybe just somewhat longer than it is in the picture, not actually long. That way you could decide how to have it depending on your mood, but not turn into a huge vagina. It's a very nice picture!

I don't normally use gel as it is, only during certain well-dressed events (with short hair that is), but other than that, I don't use it. I'd opt for the smooth, normal feel.

I wish I could grow a decent one. My biological dad has a pretty good one, but for some odd reason, I cannot grow a decent looking one. It's like all the good growth of hair I have is on top of my head...

LOL, funny you should say that, I have been told the same thing, that I could pass as an Arab, yet I am part Italian, and part Polish. Must be the Mediterranean thing, I can see where some could think I might be Egyptian. But that's only because of my dark tan, thanks to living in Texas for nine years. A couple more years up here in Pennsylvania, and I'm gonna look like the bottom of a fish again.

That would be my take, too, speaking as a woman. Generally, Italisn guys do not look good with long hair, and, until I read otherwise, just from the picture, I thought he was Italian, also.

I'd try to get a bit of sideburn going on with that, though....not pork-chop type sideburns, just some nice, neat ones, and you might go just a bit longer, but not much. Just enough to give your hair a bit of volume. Use some mousse...but not much, you don't need much.

Heh, yeah I get a dark tan too, having lived here in Florida for the last fifteen years of my life. At times, I can get so dark that I look like a latino! O_O

Speaking of latino...I'm learning how to dance salsa and some other fun stuff...
