Is Bill Frist a whiner?

Look at this front page from his PAC. (http://www.volpac.com/)

He's still smarting from being outmanuevered by Harry Reid a couple of days ago, and he's crying about it like a ten year old with a skinned knee. Look at the poll:
Senate Shutdown
Why do you think Democrats shut down the Senate yesterday?

Party of No Ideas
Party of No Principles
Party of No Hope
All of the Above
I've seen more balanced polls here on NS [/sarcasm].

Frist got his ass handed to him procedurally, and then was forced to allow the second phase of an inquiry into the fixing of intelligence in the run up to the Iraq War to move forward. No wonder he's crying. He doesn't like seeing his presidential aspirations evaporate.

Take the poll (in honor of Senator Frist).

I've said it once, and I'll say it again: It's more resembling a "Polish parliament" than a USian one.

"Waah, they outmanoeuvred me, so I'll cry, cry, cry about it on teh internets/my blog!!!"

This just in: most, if not all senators can be classified as whiny bitches at one point or another, yes this includes Harry Reid too.

Land then was forced to allow the second phase of an inquiry into the fixing of intelligence in the run up to the Iraq War to move forward.

The inquiry was already underway, and was schedule to report next week for bipartisan review.

So Reid won an agreement to continue with an agreement.

I picked option #1.

Not according to the ranking member of the intelligence committee, Senator Rockefeller. Unless, of course, Roberts was planning on reporting without consulting anyone on the Democratic side whatsoever.

You mean the same Rockefeller who wrote the now famous "Rockefeller memo" who dictated that this would be the Democratic Party strategy to bring down Bush - even if the intelligence was not questionable?

I see.
