Hip Displasia sucks

Does anyone else have hip displasia besides me? I swear to God I'm the only person in my high school who has it (1 in 1000). Anyway if you don't know what it is, it mutates the hip and in short screws up all my muscels waste down. I'm not trying to sound like a whiny loser crying for mommy, I'm just wondering if anyone here has it or has any idea what it is.

Nope just you. But more importantly... does it screw up all your muscles bellow your waiste?

There are several different hip problems that are called "hip dysplasia." Which one are you talking about?

I can sympathize with you. I have acute multi curve scoliosis, and it fucks up all my muscles too! It even hurts to stand at the sink and do the dishes. Gives me terrible cramps.

And there's nothing wrong with crying for mommy, damnit! :(

The only one I know of. It essentially makes one leg one centimeter higher than the other becuase the joints can't fit in the sockets correctly.

By that description I think you're talking of acetabular dysplasia, where the acetabulum (the "socket" of the hip joint) is too shallow.

That's right, Fass is our resident med student.

I'm just curious as to what specific problem he has. If he'd said "I have a bum knee," you'd probably like to know what's wrong with it in a bit more detail if you were so inclined.

Alright then, my thigh muscles have a 2:1 ratio, and since one leg is 1cm higher than the other, it causes my ankles to swell so I get sore after walking for 5 minutes. I also cannot run AT ALL unless I take painkillers for a week, and even then, I can only run for a short sprint.

I can understand why you thought I was being hostile, since nine times out of ten I am. But in this case, I was simply stating I forgot you were studying medicine. Basing this statement on memory you were studying gynocology at present.
