On subject of blowing things up (and totally hijacking your thread), did anyone here watch ITV's Gunpowder Plot experiment last night? For those that didn't, here's what happened: they built a full size replica of the Houses Of Parliament (as they were then) on some military testing range somewhere in the UK, loaed it up with 36 barrels of gunpowder, and blew it up - just to see what would have happened if Guy Fawkes had succeeded. The resulting explosion was stunning - who says it's the Americans that do shock and awe?! The ultra-slow-motion were particular impressive - a ripple travelled along the building pushing the walls and roof out a couple of metres, before they're blown away completely.

For some reason, that really reminded me of Samuel L. Jackson.
Go figure.

From my nations page where it shows the latest threads it says "I love blowing thing" - and I was sure it was going to be a soon to be locked thread so I had to come check it out quickly.
*dissapointment*

Anyway, why Song 2 by Blur to a USian dick waving video? A British band seems out of place. Almost anachronistic in a cultural sense.

Perhaps you're a member? Or they only do it to people who aren't in the US. Who knows. It gave me a registration screen, which was nevertheless powerless against my trusty bugmenot Firefox extension.
But this Harrier pilot has got a serious pair. Rode it in until the last fraction of a second (saving bathers).
