I don't mean to challenge creationism in this thread, but personally, I rather fancy the idea that we all rose from a mass of pondscum.

First of all, I can see the resemblance. Certainly you've seen it here or there. Especially in people that piss you off. Especially in politicians. We really haven't evolved all THAT much beyond pondscum. :p

Second, I suspect God has a sense of humor and I think he gets his kicks out of our evolutionary tree leading to pondscum. I know I do.

Finally, this all could be the rantings of a lunatic that's infatuated with goo. It certainly wouldn't ge the first time I started a thread devoted to people climbing out of goo. :D
