I haven't been able to get it to work in a long time, and now I desparately want to use it to retrieve a post I wrote here several months ago so I can copy and paste it to another forum. Has anyone figgured out how to make the search function work?

Indeed. Use the 'Search' function on Jolt itself. Top left of the screen, sixth option along; it's one of those little grey bars by the NS logo. Works just fine. Hope that helps!

Technical blows. I posted the same question there earlier today and got no response. Generalites usually know their stuff so I'm asking here.

Aside from the fact that that would take a hell of a long time to search through, it seems to only bring up the last 100.

Thanks.

DCD, that only does a limited number of posts. The Jolt Search Function is much better, and faster - just type in keywords from the thread in question.

You can also access the search function if you have a broswer that does tabs. Just click on the search pop-up menu thingee that no longer works and have it open in a new tab. Go into advanced search and voilĂ .

It's not within my last hundred posts. :( But I think I've got a way to retrieve it. :) Thanks for the help folks.
