Me, I'm sitting at work, and I just stared out of the window into this beautiful, fresh, bright autumn day, on the red and yellow leaves, into the bright blue sky, and if I could be anywhere right now, I'd be at the sea, walking down the beach in Bray, looking at the mountains.... *sigh... 4 hours to go :(

Seen as today is a public holiday over here, I'm quite enjoying myself already. ;)

If I could be anywhere else right now, I'd visit a friend of mine who decided to move to Italy...

I miss her :(

It really sucks... We shared an apartment for 2 years, and we had such a good time! I miss talking to her (I don't even have a phone here. Not to mention a reliable internet connection. *sigh*.)
This is depressing me, and I don't like being depressed. Not on a holiday ;)

I'm gonna go outside and enjoy the sun for a while, hope it makes me feel better....

i'd be in san francisco, looking out over the golden gate bridge in that lovely little park i found last time, sitting on bench or taking a stroll on a crisp autumn day, with a certain someone by my side...
and it'd be nice have booked reservations at a particularly delicious restaurant, too (i always be thinking about food :))

Though its a perfect autumn day here- its mild and in the 60s and not a cloud in the sky, I'd probably pick some tropical setting. I could use a few days to unwind on the beach, listening to Jimmy Buffet, drinking Coronas and eating shrimp. St.John's would be just right.

Kyoto, Japan with my best friend, both of us sitting in a nice park area eating rice balls. *yummy*

Now...back to reality. *sob*

I'd agree with you there. Although the mountains in Greece or Macedonia, or the southern Swiss Alps, or just about any park in Canada would serve just as well to my non-picky tastes. And who to be with? Alone, or as alone as possible, maybe with a dog or something to warn me about bears, poachers, or law enforcement agents.

I had a little Keeshond (http://www.akc.org/breeds/keeshond/index.cfm) who was the best dog I have ever known. She grew up with the kids, and thought she was one of them. Some of my most treasured memories are of times she and I backpacked through the Nanatahala or up the Appalacian Trail. When Breda died, everyone in the family cried. She was just that good.

It doesn't bother me, I don't really care what others think of me or my religion. I like the show, not watching something that I like because I may not agree with the people on it about an issue, is kinda dumb.

Probably sunning myself on a tropical beach somewhere.

I'd be in Inverloch, Victoria, Australia, and it'd be a typical Inverloch day. There would have been a beautiful sunny morning and I would've taken my special someone for a walk along the beach. Then the rain would have started and we would have done nothing for the afternoon and would now be snuggled up together in bed, talking and listening to the rain against the window.

*snap* back to reality. I'm smack bang in the middle of my final exams and my special someone is not with me and it's all rather sad. However I do get to spend three whole days and nights with her next week, and my best friend is tagging along too. Hurrah.

One exam to go, though. So I guess I'm not so much smack bang in the middle of them as right on the cusp of finishing them.

Somewhere abroad with my favourite person of the moment. Perhaps on a deserted beach watching a sunset. Perhaps in some cosy café or bar-type-place somewhere chatting. Perhaps walking alongside a river or in some mountains or along a cliff. Perhaps in a park, either walking along or just sitting on the grass talking. Perhaps in a random field somewhere watching the stars. Anywhere really, but preferably outside. The boat idea sounds nice too :)

In all likelihood, a wooded glade or field, with my frineds, and a hell of a lot of alcohol.
