Please answer this poll, so I can see the NS age ratio.

I'm 30, and there are two separate options with my age on them. Since I'm going to be 31 in a couple of months I chose 30-40

I'm a fetus.

That would be under 12.

I think your categorisation of "teenager" is a little broad. The "teenage" demographic is a very false one in the online community, due to the speed of change (some of it even maturation) at that point. At 19, my online habits are very different to what they were when I was 17, and they were pretty different to when I was 14 or 15.

However, if you're after a broad sample, this should provide you with the necessary data :)

If you compare 13 and 19 year olds there is a huge difference. Technically they are both teenagers but the behaviors greatly differ. Yes, there was a poll just like this not to long ago.

ah. my husband is pretty happy about it :p He is 30 and used to make jokes with his friends about how when he turned 30 he was going to go out and get him a hot girl in her 20's they all would try to jump in to try to 'defend' me. I didn't care, I knew that I am the hot girl in her 20's. It is kinda flattering that he still thinks I am hot, and that his friends like me enough to get mad when he jokes about what they would percieve as "cheating" :p

well, let's just say i'm in the "teenager" category, although i act like i should be in any of the above 30 categories.... i went through my rebellious stage when i was about 9. it ended when i was 11.... so I am just very mature and old fashioned....

Most of you are younger than I thought...I'm always surprised by that...and I often wonder if we'd all talk the way we do on NS if we could see the people (and their age) we were talking to? Like, put us all in a room...would we be as comfortable with the topics that come up online? I rather doubt it...young pups!

At 27? No, not really. There are plenty around here older than you. Most NSers tend to be college students of 18-25 years, so you're just above normal range. ;)

Looks so far like the majority are under 20...we shall have to see...

It'd be nice if there was more than one category for teenagers, as I'm 18 and a freshman in college, and being lumped in the same category as 8th graders is rather annoying.

Yeah, and considering in (most of) Canada, 18 is the age of majority, we don't really consider 18 and 19 year olds to be teens...

It's funny too, because when people see me they think I am younger than what I am, I was yelled at in the mall when I was pregnant by a women. She said "I just can't stand you teen mothers, quit making babies for me to pay for, and what are you doing here? spending my tax dollars at the pretzel place?!"

I said "uh no, I am spending my husband's money at the pretzel place, and as a grown adult, I don't think it is any of your business"

she tried to apologize but I was too mad, how could anyone go and yell at someone like that? isn't being a pregnant teen hard enough without crazy mall walkers yelling at you?!

anyway, as people get to know me I seem to "age". I don't know why, other than I did most of the crap that people do in their 20's when I was in my teens, so now that I am 23 I am "over it" just like someone at 33 would be. That's all I can figure out.

I'm not far off Nazz, 36 be 37 in March. Poor Zep will be 40 in a week..lol Good thing he doesn't come around anymore, he'd be upset with me, he doesn't want to be 40..lol

That ended for me when I needed my gallbladder removed, started catching colds during the winter and cuts and scrapes started taking longer than a day to heal.
I always took it for granted when I was never sick, no matter what the weather or conditions and when I got a wound, it healed immediately.

This likely goes hand in hand with depression, which I've also seemed to pick up in the last year or so.
