I saw the trailer and fell about laughing because I thought that the first voice you hear sounds like Goldmember.
But maybe that's just me.

Aeon Flux was a freaky thing, I'm unsure about how well it'll translate into a film. Didn't the chick die at the end of most of the cartoons?

I don't think she is, frankly. Man I loved that animation...since back when we had pirated satellite and saw it on MTV...it was just so different! I'm not entirely sure who I would prefer though...but not her...NOT HER!
Yeah, the big drawback is that people are going to be speaking in a language we understand instead of the original mumbo-jumbo. I wish they'd stick to that...it's one of the things that really drew me to that animation. It was so much more about the visuals and the (twisted) plot that the dialogue. Sure, it'd be harder to do in film, but not impossible.

I think the woman who did Trinity in the Matrix would have been good.
I would have loved to see Christopher Walken as Trevor Goodchild.

That cartoon confused the hell out of me. I hope the movie doesn't have a comprehensible plot because the strange sense of not quite knowing what was happening was a big part of the cartoon's appeal for me.
Kate Beckinsale would've been a better choice for the role.
Perhaps she's fed up of playing parts where she has to wear leather after doing Underworld?

Aeon Flux rocked. It was so cool.
This movie will suck ten kinds of ass, however. Cartoon to movie is iffy at best, and in this case it is just not going to be as uniquely weird as Aeon Flux must be.
You know,what is it with moviemakers? They always have to ruin my favorite things. Fucking Hollywood.
