Think about it...lets compare humans & their rights & their abilities with that of say...apes.

Humans
-outstanding intelligence
-thumbs
-very little rights (when you think about it compared to other species)
-limited by morals and religions
-the ability to think what im thinking right now and to post this thought with technology

Apes
-less intelligence
-no thumbs
-can do whatever the **** they want
-harem life ;)
-no morals or religion (that we know of) = complete freedom
-starting to harness tools and greater knowledge

Apes don't have NSGeneral, or porn. Pretty much the entire internet.

I don't know that I would want to be an ape but my dog sure seems to have it made;)

We exist. So let's enjoy it, instead of agonizing over the fact that apes, with their much simpler social interactions, seem to have more freedom. Consider: with their apparently greater freedom (and four instead of two hands), they can't write plays, can't shoot themselves into space, can't treat disease or injury, can't farm their own food and have to worry about mistaking land mines for fruit or toys. (Granted, some of us might have to worry about that last.)

Our purpose in life is to be us.

Let's see here, complete freedom. So you can hang around a tree all day playing with yourself. And you think that is freedom. Sounds like freedom is pretty boreeeeeing.

Apes do have a very basic social system to follow and they aren't aware of the 'freedom' they have or anything else for that matter. I'll stay human.

Apes only have more freedom if you think that running around naked and slinging poo is the height of freedom. Personally, I think that the ability to stay up all night watching Pin-Head kickass, get into pointless argument with random people on the Interweb, and the possibility of (at some point) becoming a published author are much greater freedoms.
I'll stink with Human, and I think that I'll have some ape brains for dinner tommorow night.

Hunted by other animals.
No doctor to go to when sick.
No variety in their diet.
At the mercy of the elements - no house - no warning of natural disasters.
No music.
No Nation States. :(

Think I'll stay human thank you.

I don't eat ape brains every night, just those ones where I am feeling sufficiently Evil/decadent.
Most nights I just order goats head from the local Indian place. That or General Tso's Chicken and a fried banana from the Chinese place.

apes have something like morals, they have a culture, and if one does something wronge one gets thrown out. and they all must groom eachother to keep bonds and such, and other things.

but i say i don't want to be either. common black ant or turf grass is what i'd want to be!

- Yes
- No
- Maybe
- I'm not human so I wouldn't know.

Apes have thumbs:

As for these:

-can do whatever the **** they want
-harem life ;)
-no morals or religion (that we know of) = complete freedom

These are all limited by their position on the social ladder. Sure the alpha male pretty much can do what they want, but not the rest.
