Okay; indulge a little hypothetical scenario here. Some time in the near future, some scientists discover a way for asexual reproduction in female humans to occur. Such reproduction only produces female offspring. Women decide to genetically hold men to ransom and become the dominant gender on the planet.

Gents - Do you put up a resistence? Do you live out your life in defiance of your society? Do you accept the role of the recessive sex? Or do you adopt the "Can't beat 'em; join 'em" mentality and get a gender switch? Would your attitudes towards the female race be any different as a result of the event? What about the homosexuals; how would you feel about the dwindling numbers of hot guys?

Ladies - Would your attitudes towards men be any different? How would you do things differently? Would you try and have kids the old-fashioned way anyway? Would you keep some of the more attractive guys around as pop-cult icons? Do you even keep your heterosexuality in light of the rapidly decreasing male population? What would be your response to the transsexuals in society?

2) Rebel
3) Join them
4) Destroy every woman, man, and child on earth.

My views about men, or people in general, don't revolve around how they are used in reproduction.

I wouldn't.

Yes. If I had children it would be because I want to raise a family with someone I love. And the old-fashioned way is more fun.

Would you keep some of the more attractive guys around as pop-cult icons?
I'd oppose any purposeful "destruction" of the male gender.

Sexuality isn't a choice so it's a pointless question - I'd stay bisexual. You also assume all females on here are hetrosexual.

What would be your response to the transsexuals in society?
Same as it is now: doesn't affect me in any way so do what you want and I'll judged you based on important factors about your character.

Well, I'm hoping there'd always be some women around that would want men for sexual reasons. The rarer we'd get, the higher our attractivity would be, anyway...

I fail to see how women being able to reproduce asexually would really affect gender relations at all. Middle Eastern countries might eventually see the light about gender equality and I suppose that men could just be removed from the world by not having any more, but that won't affect me either.
Women have always had a slight majority over men, like 51% to 49%, and by and large men dominated everything.
