Since I decided to stop being a cheapskate and get Photoshop, I've learnt the true god-like power of perhaps the greatest program ever made* EVER!
But in the spirit of bringing togetherness and not killing each otherness, topped with a healthyl dose of wicked humour LET'S HAVE A BIT MORE PHOTOSHOP FUN!

mr rotovia, i was NOT being snide. its not easy to deal with the straight edges of a close up photo. with what you did, they are not noticeable. now take your compliment as it was intended!

Filter->Extract is the best invention ever. I use a combo of Photoshop CS 2 and Paintshop Pro 7 or something.

paint shop pro has gotten so good that its a great cheaper substitute for photoshop for the casual user.

I guess I will have to check out a copy of the latest Paintshop Pro, but really Filter->Extract has been saving me soo much time on cutting most stuff out.

i was just speaking in general about how psp has become as good as ps. back in the day, if you wanted to do photo work there was no reasonable substitute for photoshop. these days you can do pretty much anything that you would use ps for with psp at a fraction of the cost of software.

photoshop cs2 from the same site runs you $280.

Too bad my school doesn't have a deal to offer those free. We get a few Microsoft products free, well provided you have a CS class. That site doesn't have anything from Jasc (Paintshop Pro people).

oops i guess i misread the site. it happens
im not sure about THIS site. but when my son was still in highschool we got the macromedia suite (dreamweaver, fireworks, flash creator) for an excellent price and all he had to do was be able to demonstrate that he was a student. the school had no agreement with anyone. ..... (i looked through my deleted emails just for you) that was journeyed.com
oh oh i just looked it up on the net, corel bought paintshop from jasc.
