Posting drunk? To date I've found better things to do with my time whilst intoxicated than linger about NS, to be honest. I don't drink and post, I get high and post.

Although I have been witnessed drunk in IRC several times, and once I managed to type error-free for a good 20 minutes while good 'n liquored up. Now I can't do that while sober.

Is it just me or did that sound like a line form LoR?

I do not drink or take drugs, so the experience of posting while drunk or high has so far eluded me. However, I have had what I would imagine to be a similar experience; posting during an emotional break down (ugly stuff).

I'll be able to tell you in an hour or so, I'm halfway through my first Friday afternoon beer. :)

I never posted while drunk...but one time when it was very bad (the short fun time between having drunk 5 or so of these little Vodka Mix Drinks in 10 minutes and them swiping you off your feet for the next few hours) and I got a message on my phone from a guy I was trying to buy a car from.

I desperately tried to get a coherent message together for twenty minutes, then gave it up and proceded to lay down for a little while....

Never type when drinking? Do you remember what happened to me during the Lingerie thread? Never type in a thunderstorm is what I have to add...

I don't drink-but that's not a moral stance. I'm a dorky drunk, a type of drunk so horrifying that people forget to mention it as a least favorite. Just a total lame-ass. And I feel kinda crappy later. Bah. For the good of those who drink around me, I don't join them.

However, I smoke like a damn chimney, and post while high. Like now. Mostly it just means that I avoid debates and gravitate towards sillier threads, and occasionally make posts that either over-answer a question or (and sometimes and) go on and on and on.

Or reply to as many posts in a thread as I can, sometimes coming off as the kid in the back of the room jumping up and down going "Pay attention to me! Pay attention to me!"

Yeah, to be honest, if I'm under the influence I don't tend to dive straight for the keyboard. I waste enough time on the net as it is; when I finally do something social, I tend to make the most of it. I have few drunken posting experiences.

Me neither, not tonight. I'm on the Victor Bravos, but I'm finishing up the last one now. That means either a walk to the bottle shop, or a ferret around on the top of the fridge to see what dodgey liqueurs/spirits are lurking up there. I'm leaning towards the bottle-o at the moment.

You know when you're high, and you get some sort of idea, it doesn't ever stop? I had some thought about chickens that kept bouncing around, so all of my posts during that time had chickens in them.

Someone's always busted me if I posted while drinking. I guess I'm obvious.

I can't post when I'm high. I will read something I want to respond to, and after I start typing I continuously revise my post as my brain wanders. Eventually I realize that I am no longer on topic and just give up and go play Playstation.

I don't drink, so I've never posted while drunk.

The reason why I don't drink is because I'm too busy getting high. I'm sure you've seen one of my posts when I'm high. All of them are.

I never let any secrets slip, drinking,sober or otherwise. Anything I reveal is soley to suit my own purposes.
In addition, I continue to function fairly well when I'm loaded-even people I know well have been surprised if I say I'm drunk. Maybe I'm bad enough sober so that drunk makes little difference?

I've had far too many bad experiences of trying to be coherent while drunk, so I know better than to bother coming on NS after I've been drinking. Also, it used to take me about 10 minutes to get to the forums when drunk, despite having auto-complete on in the address bar...
