Why was Hogsweat deleted? I went away for awhile came back and everyone is whining in their sigs.

an act of mod oppression-he was supposedly greifing but in actual fact he was saving his region-he ejected all his nations and then reformed the region afreash so that it had a foudner. And the mods DEATed him fr it!

Some might say that being polite would entail posting in the correct forum - you've been in this game since September 2004, so you must know by now that discussions of moderation issues happen in the dedicated Moderation forum, and discussing them in General just irritates people.

Only founders are allowed to do that. It would take to much time to determine in each case whether the UN delegate in a founderless region is legitimate (if the concept of 'legitimacy' can even be defined).

I havent played most of it. I had to get a mod to reactivate my account. And I dont really care if it 'irritates' people. Go get a life and you'll find something worth getting irritated over. Its a simple question.

If you don't care for politeness (which you've demonstrated clearly here with your childish 'go get a life' insult rather than making an intelligent comment) then isn't it rather hypocritical to criticise Fass for being impolite? Using your argument he could have posted just about anything (for example, "I think G is the best letter in the alphabet") and when you criticised him for not answering the question he could reply that he doesn't care if it's irrelevant (much like your original post being in the wrong forum), as you should "go get a life and you'll find something worth getting irritated over".

So why didn't you edit the quote to correct it, rather than telling us you'd made a mistake but then not correct the mistake?

If there wan't so much griefing going on, the game moderators could spend time investigating cases like these, confirming the nations were his own, and so on. Unfortunately they don't have the time, and it's easier to make a simple rule and tell people that if they want to refound a region they'll have to organise it carefully themselves.

Even better idea. Start a thread in moderation, including all the reasons why the deletion of Hogsweat was unfair.
