The Crusade upon the Tragicly Lonely

Sort of... reformed judgement, relaxed moral standards. Thats what keeps those men in the nation.
Out in their dream worlds, their cyberspaced networks.
Networks that hack into the mind, manipulating the chemical reactions.
Causing a change in the behavior.
An increase in agression.
More or less, a manchurian canadate.
Programed to target societys virtueous, upstanding citizens.
Training them to use any means nessisary with perfected disregard for personal safty.
Much like a cult brainwashes a good christian.
Twisting the mind, perverting its instints.

I'm going to hope that that was some sort of poem, in which case, good on you. I thought it sucked, but people seem to enjoy that sort of thing nowadays. Although, if you want it to sell well, then change the line to "good atheist", that will earn you some "wikkid mad street cred" among the Neuvo-Artistes

It is not verse, not ment to be sold. It is simply a warning against the modern-day interactive threat

The "modern-day interactive threat"? Interesting. Please explain?
Ah, no, I spot the line that gives it away. It's the "Manchurian Children". You're a Thompsonite.

"According to Thompson (http://philosophy.wisc.edu/streiffer/RPA98Folder/980918.html), morality requires people to "act publicly and autonomously on general principles" (p. 122). Thompson looks at three views of what obligations attach to the legislative role, but concludes that they are all mistaken. On his view of those obligations, legislative ethics is possible."

Aah! I meant nothing of the kind! I wasn't aware someone would reference an actual philosopher! I meant a follower of Jack Thompson.
"The modern-day interactive threat" is definitely Jack Thompson-esque phrasing, though in a sense it's actually not extreme enough for him, but the Manchurian line in relation to gaming is taken straight from him (http://www.stopkill.com/). (Yes, the phrase "Manchurian Children" was used before Thompson, but what is quoted here seems a quintessentially Thompsonianally hyperbolic turn of phrase).
This brand new poster, whose first post was this, would appear... an intriguingly one-issue persona at the best of times. When it looks as though Jack Thompson's personal integrity (http://www.joystiq.com/entry/1234000743063662/) (in the wake of his decision to renege on the donation he claimed he'd make for a charity project (http://gc.advancedmn.com/article.php?artid=5883) he commissioned by way of an open letter) and tactics as a spokesperson (http://www.gamesindustry.biz/content_page.php?aid=12259) have been seriously (http://www.livejournal.com/users/gamepolitics/2005/10/18/) compromised (http://www.penny-arcade.com/news.php?date=2005-10-17), too.
Not that the man himself would go round the Internet sites of mere pawns, spreading mindless garbage like that poem. He's too busy trying to get webcomic authors arrested and/or investigated by the FBI for collaboration with the games companies in encouraging children to shoot police officers. And even for his tortured writing skills (http://www.vgcats.com/jack.php) this is a little too bad.
I'm sure whoever wrote this thought they were making a point about... something. But really, it doesn't; evidence reflected in the millions and millions of game-players with no worse reactions to videogaming than a slight tendency to speak in l33t, or, in other words, a language which is morally wrong because their parents don't understand it. Much like every generation's teenage dialect.
Come back, Commander Salamander! We wish to discuss your "poetry" with you!

So exactly what are you trying to warn us about? Because from that garbled post that seems more like poetry then an acutal discussion. You really can't glean any message other then wtf.

What logic? I used logic? Sweet, this is a day I'll remember forever.
It's spam because it doesn't have a point. At all. You don't even know what it is or where you "got" it from.
