I love it...both my favorite teams in the World Series...Though I have been a fan of the Sox longer, so I gotta root for them to win out in the end, but I'd like to see a seven-game Series...and all close games like tonight...no blowouts for either side.

I want both teams to be able to go away with their heads held high.

so far, both teams can do this, after game one. Great defense, good pitching, a little pop in the bats from each side...great show.

Now that the Sox have won Game One, I gotta root for the 'Stros to get Game 2. And then of course, either one for Game 3, then the other for game 4...I would like to see this go 1-1, then 2-2, then 3-3...and then, the seventh game into extra inings, close game, and the Sox win.

Damn, it is hard for me to root AGAINST my beloved Astros...but, damn it all, I love the White Sox, too...and I have been a fan of them longer, so, for me, it has to be the White Sox.

Either way, one team I love will be World Champs. I just want both teams to be able, in the end, to hold their heads high and proud.

I gotta start looking around for a souvenier mug or something with BOTH team names on it, as a memento of a most awesome baseball year for me.

Anyone know if such an item exists, and where I might look to find one?

Not sure, but the program you buy at the game usually serves as a good collector's item, and usually has a whole write-up on both teams.. at least it normally does. I'd check out ebay or something.. maybe mugs are on there too.

Anyway, your right. This is going to be a great series. Hopefully it does go 7. I love a series that goes 7 games.
