Hehe, my old PC could not handle much, but me new beastie is ready to take the new games. Haven't played Mythology yet. AOE3 demos are out, I'll just just get the real thing when released.

It looks like a cross between Warcraft and Warhammer.

You'll need a decent PC with this one. 3D graphics are all the rage now :)

Yeah, I've been an Age fan for a long time. It's one of the first computer games I ever played. One of the few high-quality Microsoft products. :)

[I do not, I repeat, I do not, want this thread to turn into a Mac/PC debate...:D]

I've previously downloaded/installed the freakin' huge 365MB *demo*- took forever to download, even with a DSL connection. I'm about to go try it out...review later.

You mean the expansion for Civ 3? Yeah, i've got it.

I'm especially looking forward to Civ 4 because it has the government model that Alpha Centauri used. I suspect it was because I wrote them an angry email demanding why Civ 3 didn't when it was released :p

Ive been playin AOE 3 demo for about a week now. I'm pretty impressed so far, but there aren't a lot of levels on the demo. You can make different troops formations, and the AI seems pretty damn smart. All in All, I'd say it will be a good buy, when I can afford it. (probably when AOE 4 comes out! )

Probably need a new PC to run AOE4 by then. AOE3 should run good with my ATI X700 Pro 256MB video card (PCI-X).

Why can't you be the Indians?

Other than that, it really does look good. Kick arse graphics.

I don't know about the full version, but the demo runs good on my pc. I have a 3.2 ghz Pentium 4 , with an ATI 9200 with 128 mb with the GPU overclocked
to 250 Mhz. No probs, but if I overclock any higher, I get artifacts. It runs around 120 fps, which is amazing for the 9200, which isn't the greatest card. At least it's AGP 8x.
