Same go as last time. Two candidates with near identical stands on most issues, both with distinguished and consistant careers. The only difference is one is a White Male and the other a Black Female.
However, here's the twist. Last time I did this I gave you nothing to work with at all. But this time I'm going to be kind and throw you a bone by working through the logic EVERYONE OF YOU missed last time.
The Republicans would never run a black woman as it would risk loosing them support in their staple feeding ground of the deep south. It would be political suicide.
HOWEVER the Democrats need to regain some swing state including Florida where a large amount of black, jewish & female voters could swing their way. Northern Democrats are unlikely to oppose a black woman and it may gain back Massaceusetts liberals who voted third party.
Then again, I may be wrong on this one. That's all you've got, get ready to cast your ballot.

Actually, running an African-American woman would backfire in Florida. Yes, it is a key swing state, but:
1. African-Americans overwhelmingly vote democrat anyways.
2. Jewish voters are increasingly voting Republican, primarily because of their stance on Israel.
3. Florida isn't a bible-belt state- our rednecks vote democrat, but will switch if there is a black candidate.
4. Florida has the largest elderly population in the country. Old people, who still hold onto old prejudices.

Running a black woman for president would probably backfire in NYS. If you notice, we don't have an abundence of black politicians at the statewide level, and the catholic and jewish blocks in the city can often get quite racial about things.

Enough to vote Republican? Don't think so. Besides true Romans* vote Democrat regardless.

Why should the Dems run an African-American female for president, if a white female is an iffy choice? I think it would get shot down, by a majority of the country, mainly because she is female. I personally don't think the US would elect a woman anytime soon, but then again, I'm a pessimist.
I think a male Latino would make a better choice, for the Dems, and get some of the South of the border Catholics back with the party that actually cares about them.

Given the question is WOULD YOU vote for a black candidate, you're wondering off track a bit.

Oh, yeah. I probably would. I always root for Dems, and I can vote in '08.
My bad.

I would probably vote for the one that faired better in debates. If that ended up being a tie also, I guess I would vote for the female politition.

Yah, tell that to David Dinkins. Worked good for him. He only won the first time because of abnormally low turn out. Plus, the race card got Bloomberg into office (NYCs Republican Mayor).

If they have so similar policies on most issues, perhaps people would realise that the two party system isn't that good?;)

We have the opposite scenario in Ohio. Both major parties have a black candidate as the front runner for the primary for governor. Those two candidates disagree on just about everything.
