Breaking news: The recently opened theatre has been promptly destroyed and the terrorists responsible have released a note condemning any attempts at bringing liberal entertainment to corrupt the good people of Saudi Arabia and promptly declared jihad on Hollywood.

I hope this is a good first step in the gradual proces of westernising Arabia.
There's some pockets of westernisation in Saudi Arabia. I once saw on the International Channel a kind of Tech TV for Saudis. Not overwhelming, but it's definitely a start. Maybe they'll pull their heads out of their 6th century hole faster and join civilization at last.

Well, the king did say a couple of days ago that they might consider letting women drive. So, I guess they are making progress.
