I can only hope someone pulled this out of their ass. (http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=viewArticle&code=20051015&articleId=1089)

I suspect that they did. It sure looks like a load of shit whether the article's true or not.

It is most likely a lie or some half-truth. Let us wait until a credable media outlit speaks on it.

Yes, the sources are evidently biased against the US, Israel, etc.

Well yes, that one sounds rather unlikely.

But in principle it's perfectly possible that Americans fight Americans in this whole war business.
I suspect we've all seen the videos of obviously American AQ members threatening Melboorne among other things...:D

It makes sense really.

If you want to blow something up, but want to avoid suspicion, just dress up like an Arab.

Then make an escape, dress up as you would normally and nobody will be looking for you anymore.

The website seems heavily baised however.

You know, it's hard to take seriously any article that feels the need in it's 274 words to use the phrase 'Iraqi puppet police' (or something similar) no less than 6 times.
Gee, doya think he's trying to tell us sumthin'?

Not only does it show extremely poor writing skills, it immediately makes me take anything else said in the article with an extremely large grain of salt.

Iraqi puppet police? Sounds like an Al Quaeda setup.

Any news source which uses 5 exclamation marks in the first sentence (which is also a question) cannot be trusted.

Well, elsewhere on the site they describe avian flu, SARS, West Nile virus and AIDS as "man-made plagues". I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions.

We do contribute to our own plagues by associating with specific animals. However they are not "man-made", just tranferred from host to human via some mutation.

Let's see:
No names or anything remotely resembling specific details in the article.
Obvious bias in the article.
And the front page has such lovely tidbits as: "The Avian Flu Fright is Politically Timed
- by Dr. Leonard Horowitz - 2005-10-12
If avian flu becomes more than a threatened pandemic, it will have done so by political and economic design"

A 10 out of 10 on the bs meter.

Check out the items that are being sold to the left of the article. "America's 'War on Terrorism'", the "Globalization of Poverty", "Celsius 9/11".

Also check out the links underneath "Home Page" through "South & East Asia".

Sounds like someone's being a tad biased, here.

I think it was this sentence that made me want to stop reading:

"Who needs terrorists or insurgents if we can do that job much better!!!!!"

Interesting lead, don't you think? Tons of exclamation points, the word "we" being used (but of course, the author of this article would never be referring to themselves, oh, no) and the fact that this is clearly not what an article's topic sentence should look like.

i dont think Arabs and Americans could be seen as Enemies, after all, if the US is fighting terrorism for the 11th sep. then Egypt, is fighting it against the attackes on Sharm and Taba resorts, and Saudi Arabia for the Blasts in Riyadh and Jeddah, so is Jordan for the explosion in Aqaba, and so is Lebanon for the bombs following their prime minister's assasination, not to mention the Explosion in Al-Rabat Hotel in Morocco, all of these are ARAB countries, and all have forces to destroy these terrorist organisations, and all of them are Muslim nation, (except for lebanon with a Titanic christian precentage), but the west still claims that the Muslims, and Arabs are terrorists.
i'm an Arab and i have been teached by American, British, and even Newzealander Teachers, and most of the people i know have a Western Friend, and their are over 6 million Arabs and Muslims in the USA alone, and a bigger number in Europe(France, Germany and UK particularly).
yet i dont see Americans as our Enemies, ofcourse i cant deny that i HATE the american policies, just like the whole world does, but i dont judge Americans on their policies, although unlike our dictatorship regime, you chose who rules your country, while we don't...

Serves me right for not reading the entire article or check out the site. :headbang:

Which I rarely do since I lack the patience to do so. Blaming it all on my ADHD of course...

Do you smell that? Do you? That rank scent wafting from your monitor?

That, my friends, is the smell of BS.

Anyhow, is there an unbiased source of news and whatnot easily accessed by the American public? In my opinion, no, so I think our own BS meters are good enough to judge this one.
