What do you think the background of BF2's "Middle Eastern Coalition" is? Who started it? Who joined? Why? Does it succeed the Arab League?

Please, don't explain why it wouldn't start in the first place.

Sure, we all know that's the point of having it

No ay-rab or per-shin country could stand up alone, but we're going into hypotheticals and pointless theories

Iranians aren't members of the Arab League. Besides, the Arab League isn't a military coalition. I hope that explains why its the MEC and not the AL.;)

'Course not, course 'not, and I know :P

I doubt Iran's in the MEC, anyway — both because they hate each other and because the MEC dudes speak Arabic. But what do you think could result in a MEC? Who would be in it?

Who would be in it?The most likely (i.e. nearly impossible) scenario would be a wave of pan-Arabism hitting the ME again. Egypt, Syria, and Libya, perhaps.

That's my opinion, too. But I think Lebanon might also go in. Jordan might be tempted, but I think they're too close to the West to get involved.

If Iraq was still under the Ba'athists, it might jump on the bandwagon, too
