I've seen too many of these around, and they all annoy me, so I'm gonna make my own. Would you join my country?

1. Citizens pay a flat rate tax of 5%, this way the rich pay more than the poor anyway, besides, the rich have worked hard for their money. so why should they give it away?

2. Hospitals privatised, people can recieve up to 90% of the cost for operations dependng upon their income

3. Police and fire service privatised, people can recieve up to 95% of the anual cost for protection from the government, depending on their income.

4. Military spending is to be cut down, we will train only the best, and the army expenditure must not exceed 500 million dollars per year.

5. A senate will be elected, consisting of 100 members, there will be 100 city states, 1 senator from each, each city state will contain 10 mayors, who will sit in the house, a senator must be elected by having the majority of mayors supporting him under his city state.

6. Abortion and euthanasia will be outlawed

7. Homosexuality is discouraged, but not banned, gay marriage is however banned banned, and homosexuals are not allowed to adopt children.

8. Prisoners will not be provided with food, they must work to keep a living, they will be closely monitered by community support officers.

9. There will be an annual cap on immigration, decided upon by the house, and finalized by the senate. All immigrants must hold down a job for three years before coming a citizen, if they are incapable, they must attend "citizenship schools" (privatised, but can recieve funding up to 70% of fees) where they will learn the language, and basic skills, and they must pledge their allegence to God and the country.

10. Evangelicalism is the prefered religion.

11. Mayoral elections will be held every 2 years, senate elections every 3, and presidential elections every six.

12. Any citizen, whether born in the country or not, will be allowed to become president

13. Drugs are banned outright, along with tobacco, alcohol is rationed to one bottle of wine and one bottle of beer per person per week.

14. Schools will be privatized, students must pass an exam to go to sebnior school, students that do not pass will be sent to vocational schools. parents can recieve up to 85% of the school fees from the governments if they are eligable.

15. The voting age will be increased to 21 years of age, making sure that everyone has a clear vision of the world, and are not some rebelious hippies just out of college.

What is the national stance on the death penalty?

Also, I notice that you set up a sort of republic/representative system here. Does this mean that citizens can vote to change most of these issues?

Also, would the drug and alcohol restrictions apply to religious groups?

excuse me?

Well, come on. It's like "hey, this is a problem for two reasons. If I get rid of one, that makes it better!" It doesn't.

Just one question, to begin with - what's a flat rate tax of 5%? Is that on incomes?

Agree with 12. That's it.

1. I disagree. The rich's "work" is mostly pushing money around.

2. Hell fucking no.

3. So you have to pay a private entity to get protection? That's stupid. How is that any different from the Mafia?

4. Kind of agree with, militaries can often become bottomless pits for money

5. At least there's voting.

6. Whatever for? In the first case, this is trying to control someone's body, in the second case, why should someone who's going to suffer a long, painful death anyway be forced to have that fate?

7. Disagree with. My friend has two moms and he's fine. Except that his parents aren't legally married. Which pisses him off.

8. That's slavery. And slavery is wrong.

9. I agree with strict immigration laws. I don't agree with privatized schools to "teach them how to be a citizen." These should be public. Also, I don't believe in pledging allegiance to any god to become a citizen. Just the country.

10. Disagree with any state-sponsorship of religion.

11. Ok

12. Hmmm, maybe.

13. "Prohibition?" dumb. Banning substances outright helps organized crime.

14. I'm a big fan of a free education.

15. Well, gee, this 18 year old loves you, too. Also, 21 year olds are usually still in college, if they go to college that is. 18 year olds are usually fresh out of high school.

I'd rebel, or at least vote to change this very radically.
